I cant be arsed to be dragged into a “Who suffered more” argument.
But German Typhoons will not suffer due to the lack of IRST. Especially given it barely works at the moment and probably will never be modeled even half as good as it should be.
Using the fact that Germany had a minor disadvantage for the past 6 months as justification for special treatment is a non-starter. Especially given the fact that the German Typhoon has already gotten a lot of special treatment withwise of loadout.
Devs have already said that German Typhoons are not getting PIRATE, so instead of dying on that hill, perhaps instead spend your time getting other things sorted, thigns that actually matter, like a decent radar.
Given its T2 Block 10. Only Britain should have Brimstone 2s. Germany didnt fit them to T3s as far as I am aware
They’re giving it to all of them as part of P3E upgrade. So “current” B2 T10s will also have Brimstone 3s down the line (starting from 2026 or 2027 when deliveres will commence).
Yes. However, T2 B10s in-game should not have Brimstones at all then, since they’ve only began intergrating them starting from B15, and all EFTs are supposed to be the same standard, so it’d have to be removed from the Brit one as well.
UK btw, also only integrated the Brimstone with the P3E:
Given Brimstone 2s have been intergrated on the FGR4 since 2015, I wouldnt be surprised if the earlier variants did actually test fire them. Not saying they should be removed from any, but I think its reasonable that the T2B10 RAF Typhoons would have them as an option, if nothing else, they would be in the RAF Arsenal as they;ve been on the Tornado Gr4 far longer
As per the BAe article I’ve linked, UK got theirs via P3E, so if they are to keep Brimstones via a researchable modification, so should the German ones as for both of them, Brimstone 2/3s are a part of P3E.
So. Brimstone 1 should be removed from all Typhoons, Brimstone 2s added to the RAF one and Brimstone 3s added to the German Typhoon if/when they are added to the game and when there is an appropriate Typhoon variant, like a T3 Typhoon.
If Germans really want to die on the PIRATE hill, then I’ll just point out that Germany shouldnt have most of its A2G weapons it has now

Assuming Gaijin would go out of their way to model the improved motors of B2 and B3, yes, or we just give them the “P3E” as a modification (since yes, T2s are also a part of it) and change the name of Brimstone (SAL) to Brimstone 2/3 (SAL), and leave T3s for other things, like improved AMRAAMs and 5th generation IR missiles, then T4s for E-scan and Meteor.

I haven’t even mentioned PIRATE so there’s no need for goalposting.
I just tried to use EF2000 in GRB and it is as expected. Brimstones and all other ground ordnance are not viable. Holding laster locks is just nonsense at this BR. Espcially since you have to put the forward hemisphere towards the target. You can’t bank away from SAMs when you want to hit something.
The GPS bombs are bit usuable at least vs. fixed locations, but thats not really it.
Mavericks and KH38 are 1.000.000x better than anything which requires target pods and laser locks.
(Thanks for nothing. At least decrease EF2000 BR for GRB, without F&F is just bad)
“Blocks” don’t work like that in Eurofighter. It’s notation for the production standard for hardware when an aircraft is manufactured. Aircraft from older blocks will get some hardware changes to accommodate Phase N Enhancements if they’re necessary, but they’re not changing block number when upgrades are carried out.
Use the map target thing to pick a location and then fire Brimstones towards that location, you dont even need line of sight, when the countdown gets low, like less than 10 seconds, pop up and lock a target with a laser. Dont use them as long range standoff weapons . Thats what the Paveway IVs are for
They are. Granted, they aren’t as good or “as stellar” as AASM, Mavericks or Kh-38s, but they get the job done vastly better than any LGBU ever could.
Holding laster locks is just nonsense at this BR.
Step 1. Press M to open the map
Step 2. Select the option to swith the map mode into “ground setting”
Step 3. Choose a location (preferably the enemy spawn)
Step 4. Fire off Brimstone(s)
Step 5. Wait for the indicator to tell you there’s about 10 seconds til impact
Step 6. Fly up, go into TPOD view, switch on the laser
Step 7. Choose your target
At least decrease EF2000 BR for GRB, without F&F is just bad
Yes, but i’m basing my words on what Smin has said before, i.e that the Eurofighters we have got in the game are all meant to represent the Tranche 2 Block 10 (EOC) technology wise.
That is why the Germans have argued so much about the aircraft’s skin (31 + 37 which is a T3A airframe), as this particular one is a Block 25 aircraft and would always be viable for improved weaponary without a need to grind a new jet.
I think some mod addressed it a while back but many nations don’t have true SPAA past a certain point so we’d have to get multi-chassis systems and idk how practical those are in WT’s landscape
Well they had best AA
They’ll be fine
That why i said put east vs weat is the solution when best CAS vs best AA
If Pantsir have more than two braincell they would able to intercept incoming AGM just fine other AA without TWS can’t do that
