because it was weird that IR missiles do not show where they locked onto
Yeah I made the edit in my original bug report yesterday as I noticed it while testing it a bit more in rb
Was just little to late
Not to my knowledge. Ther are several WTD offices each with their own function.
WTD 41: Tanks and other vehicles
WTD 51: Engineer and troop equipment
WTD 52: Protection and special technology
WTD 61: Aircraft
WTD 71: Ships, naval weapons, and other maritime technology
WTD 81: Electronics and information technology
WTD 91: Weapons and ammunition
Yak-141 also gets sensors and weapons that it never had in service (because it never entered service) and which were thus as a result never tested.
Gaijin Logik…
I would say the word ‘consistent’ obviously doesn’t exist in the Russian language. But it does. Последовательный
So maybe the devs just didn’t go to school too regularly…
They just want money and use double standard that’s all
Whats up with the Aim 9Li-1 and the Aim 9M on the german Ef? Ive heard they’ve removed the 9Li-1 and swapped it with the 9M. Can someone explain?
They added the Li-1 to account for standard Li being worse than 9M as it’s not smokeless.
Turns out there is definitive proof Li-1 is in fact not smokeless so they just changed it out for 9M for balance.
It was a nice attempt of Gaijin to give Germany a German missile without compromising gameplay.
You can now also choose between the two, although you can carry max 4 li-1.
The trend in Air Superiority tournament throughout was more and more Gripen based teams as time went on. 6 out of 8 planes in the final match were Gripens…but if you asked British mains…the plane was nerfed into the ground and is unplayable.
So what gives? If there both the same why should i carry 1 9m on a pylon where i could carry two 9Li-1’s?
Some small changes in EFT Empty Weight:
Spoiler

Only it should weigh 11 tons, not 11.220 or 11.300
Is it still possible for Gaijin to fix the Catcher M, the Catcher M is now worse than any radar above 13.0 (except for N001
Seriously? Why are they resisting so much against giving the EF its original weight of 11.000 kg and are instead doing baby steps into that direction without ever getting there?
Additionally the german EF should be 55 kg lighter (10.945 kg) as its missing PIRATE.
Gaijin tries to model a german vehicle accurately challenge (DIFFICULTY: IMPOSSIBLE)
That’s assuming PIRATE wasn’t replaced with ballast. The UK looked at removing parts of the DASS system during training and was told that all the units would need replacing with ballast.

push too much that free ticket to get Ban (I been that point before just because i question their action)
Isn’t that only the case for DASS components in the wing(tips) because of disbalance around the roll axis? For example the towed decoys “Ariel Mk II” in the wingtip container which are also part of the DASS and only in the right wing container. As PIRATE is in the body at the front, the flight control software should be able to compensate the only slightly shifted point of gravity easily and I somehow doubt that every german EF flies with ballast just because they don’t have the PIRATE installed.
At least some of the units they were looking to remove are fuselage mounted:

Ultimately they decided removing units wasn’t worth the hassle.
I just flew the EF the first time in a test flight (as I haven’t researched it yet) and holy cow that TWS is atrocious beyond belief. It feels/seems like if a target is tracked in TWS the movement is detected wrong (wrong direction and wrong speed extrapolation) so every missile is guided into the wrong direction until either the track gets updated (which takes much longer than on the F15/16) or the missile tracks the target with its own seeker.
