Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet (Part 1)

Of course, after Tranche 2, work began on Tranche 3. Difficulties in defining a clear concept led to the division of “Tranche 3” into “Tranche 3A” and “Tranche 3B”. The first flight of the Tranche 3A took place at the end of 2013, and final deliveries were completed in 2020. The composition included:

  1. New processors to combat the obsolescence of parts, as well as updates for new weapons such as the Meteor BVRAAM missile, the Storm Shadow anti-ship missile and the SPEAR air-to-ground ammunition series. The British also developed a multi-loading rack that allows you to carry up to three Brimstone missiles or other small ammunition on a single pylon, which other Eurofighter users could receive.

  2. Provisions on the AESA radar (Active Phased Array Antenna) “Captor-E”, which later became known as the “European Common Radar System (ECRS) Mark 0”, developed by the EuroRadar consortium. AESA is not just a radar, but a dynamically configurable system capable of performing a range of functions. Work on what later became the ECRS Mark 0 began in the late 1990s. The first prototype took to the air in 2007, and the production prototypes in 2016. The ECRS Mark 0 still had a movable antenna like the Captor-M, but an AESA grille was installed on it.

  3. Improvements to the EJ.200 engine aimed at reducing weight, increasing traction and reliability, as well as controlling the thrust vector. The thrust vector control system is at the evaluation stage and allows you to deflect the thrust vector by an angle of up to 23.5 degrees. It is considered useful for increasing maneuverability in combat and for reducing takeoff run in “hot and high” conditions.

  4. Conformal fuel tanks (KTB) are provided. This idea arose in the late 1990s; in principle, any aircraft of the 2nd generation and above could be equipped with KTB, but despite the fact that Typhoon models with KTB were tested in a wind tunnel, until recently there was little interest in them. However, the advent of “heavy” external hanging containers, such as the Storm Shadow rocket, breathed new life into the KTB concept.

This sounds EXCELLENT!!

You think we actually get the Captor-E instead of the M?? :O

Love that it can carry them, but they aren’t adding them :( Maybe a hint at what’s to come?

Didn’t even see this sentence… SURELY we aren’t getting this…unless…

Which are in no way equivalent to the Kh-38M’s ingame already, or the monstrosity that is the incoming AASM Hammer on the Rafales.

Theyre gonna need to give it Brimstone II’s with F&F capability due to their frankly idioitic decision to add the AASM’s…

What happened to the whole “aircrafts have become much to strong in air to ground lately” thing they discussed in the recent CM Disclosure?!

Nobody is discussing it, but those AASM’s are powercreep of the highest order, and warrant the addition of other game ruining PGM’s for all other nations in response unfortunately.

Like this, many features thought of were never realized

Am i correct that the Eurofighter was never tested with PGM500/2000?

Well you can see that it is a block 2 from the lack of the IRST system

I believe the Germans chose not to install the IRST system even on their later block typhoons

It’s a German EFT so no IRST it’s got brimstones it’s not a block 2

I do find it weird they only showed a German eurofighter not all 3

But most questions will be answered tomorrow hopefully

Germany have the largest fleet of Typhoons.
And they are a bigger nation in game than the UK or Italy.

I’m confident they will add it to all 3 nations

as if those makes sense for the integration of EF-2000 to Germany,…

however, in my way, the EF-2000 have been overshown in trailer,… so i suspect a tri-addition : ITA-UK-GER
and thus whatever what you can say.

Well the Italian one should be the worst if they keep it historically accurate due to them not using them for much ground strike

Thats the juatification though.

Germany has more players and Germany operate the largest Typhoon fleet.

Could they have switched to RAF Typhoons dropping LGBs in say Syria, or Italian Typhoons escorting Su-33 over the Black Sea? Sure.

THAT’S NOT!

you’re,… so Nationalistic that you forget that GERMANY isn’t everything,… and remains one of the weakest army in europe today,…

it’s weapon being over-represented in a game doesn’t make anything for it,…

its a fucking trailer… holy shit
how can you read tHAT MUCH into a fucking trailer

and those countries are doing those missions aswell,… Batlic Sea operations are NATO operations, in which even France has part in it

Im a British main.

Germany have more players than the UK and Italy
Germany have been desperate for a gen 4 airframe
Italy and Britain have the Gripen

German Typhoon creates more hype than a British one.
Other reason Gaijin only have the German skin ready at the time of the trailer.
