Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet (Part 1)

It does tell you if you are being targeted and from where. And given rhat the Rafale (and maybe F-14B?) is the only 4th gen aircraft with a laser designator built in, you know that there likely may be a missile launch.

In lieu of hard data, Gaijin is likely to put it at 7.5km, seeing that is the current implementation for aircraft MAWS.

Source?

It’s one of the few systems that creates a large IR target by being spatially distrubted.

I read in a book on the Eurofighter that the german versions don’t have the towed decoy of the DASS equipped. Can anyone confirm this please? Couldn’t find anything on the Internet.

they have it equipped.
this is early T1 stuff

The idea is blocking the seeker with the flares in such a way that, when the missile emerges again, the plane is no longer in its FoV

so when yall think eurofighter would come

December

I’m guessing this winter.

December counter: 3

1 or 2 updates from now.
depends on how gaijin wants to progress with this; i’d expect an update with “less powerful” airframes but the same or better missiles first…

1 or 3, you mean.

Seeing how germany is supposed to get an sub tree apparently i would say the typhoons are coming later

potential for a swiss f-18 i guess

I am gonna throw my head in for a possible trialed gripen c to fill the CAS role as well.
This addition could come as soon as next patch while f/a 18c might come in 2 or later if gajin wants to add the A variant for US first
