Germany, as with the ASSTA 1 Tornado, will simply receive a fresher and equal EFT with other EFTs. Most likely it will be the IPA 7 of 2011-2015.

No EF mounted TVC in service. Im not even sure if the engines got mounted in any, iirc they were tested on a stand.

The PIRATE OLS has not yet been installed on production aircraft in Germany

First patch: DA2
Second patch: F.2, DA1
Third patch: FGR.4, IPA3
Fourth patch: IPA7.

The first flight tests are expected in late 2002-early 2003. In addition, Eurofighter and EuroJet expressed a desire to begin flight tests of the DA1 equipped with a nozzle sometime in 2003. How this fits in with the X-31 test phase is currently unclear.

IRST is carried on WTD 61 aircraft (which belong to the BW), with the other aircraft also having the option to carry them, there is no reason to withhold it. LWS is true but questionable how effective it will be
