it handles just like the su-27 except heavier and maybe a more instantaneous turn rate at higher speed, but they still lack their proper aoa and they bleed too much speed
Idk what you were expecting… The su-33 is basically an heavier su-27. It has over 90º aoa already

Ok… But that’s how they handle more or less I think. You can already squeeze ±20deg/s of sustained turn rate and have incredibly low speed handling with full controls, you have strong acceleration even with heavy load-outs and very high top speeds for a plane that size.
That plane will allow you to pull excessive aoa in mouse aim which results in a lot of speed bleed if you aren’t careful.
Are you expecting a flanker to have better energy retention than an F-15 which can’t pull nearly the same aoa?
