I don’t care which tree he comes from, I just want him in the game, part 2 pls
+1 for add this tank in game!
May it come either in the Latin tree or in the French tree. But let it come. 2
That’s what I think, Osório NEEDS TO COME to the game.
Why? The closest tech link is Britain. If not LatAm it should go to the UK
Is there a possibility for the gaijin to say what nationality the players are? Every tank game I enter, I notice a huge number of Brazilians and Argentines, possibly the LATAM line would be embraced by the players
This, the turret is British. As far as I’m concerned this either belongs in a Brazilian tree or in the British tree.
I honestly don’t care where he appears. But please, insert it into the game.
Gaijin, you need to add this vehicle in the game. With this new cycle of events, it could very well be a reward
I think it should be in Italian techtree because of the AMX(jet), it would fit in with the AMX rather nicely.
i disagree tbh, italy needs it most due to their poor performance with the C1 and italy is closely tied with portugal, which brazil came from. while a strech i can still see it working like that + AMX-1A
An Osório would be like, 10.0/10.3 at most, is not really going to help the top tier lineup. Don’t really need that strech.
it would give a maximum of 9.7, it is very similar in performance and armor to the Italian of40, second generation thermal and amx-40 cannon
And? What are the historical ties to Italy?
The entire turret is British, and even if the gun is French the French 120mm was an option sold with the Vickers universal turret.
i did say my reasoning was italy is connected to brazil through portugal plus we already have the AMX-1A so italy does have brazillian vehicles already, and i did say it was a strech
@VEIO_da_HAVAN what round could it use?
Companies like Embraer developed projects together with the Italians for aircraft. Bernardini was a company of Italian immigrants that made the Tamoyo tank. Engesa used components from various parts of the world to assemble the Osorio. At the time, it was more of a technology demonstration vehicle. But just as they did with India, which has ties to England, I believe that Brazil, Portugal, and Spain have strong ties to Italy. Brazil has the Guarani tank made by Iveco, an Italian company with a Brazilian project that would be very good for the Italian line in War Thunder.
In fact, the EE-T1 P2 has two thermal imager configurations that should not be confused.
The EE-T1 P2 (1986) uses the Centaur computerised FCS similar to the Vickers Mk.7. The gunner has a SFIM-made VS 580-19 (designated VICAS) stabilized primary sight, and the commander has a VS 580-10 panoramic stabilized sight. Both sights incorporate Nd-YAG laser rangefinders.
↑ VS 580-10 Commander’s Panoramic Sight
↑ VS 580-19 VICAS Gunner’s Sight (not panoramic)
A gyro-stabilized panoramic thermal sight mounted on the turret roof was the UA 9090, produced by Philips USFA, which provides x7 magnification with one FoV and which was linked to the TV monitors of the commander and the gunner.

However, the Philips thermal solution was abandoned on the EE-T1 P2 (1989) and replaced with the Castor thermal imager from TRT, France, which is also used on the French AMX-40 battle tank. Derived from the VS 580-30, SFIM developed an improved panoramic thermal sight called Casimir for the Osorio P2, with two FoV and a ±35° elevation capability, which can provid 360° ground surveillance.

↑ The Castor thermal imager on the VS 580-30 Casimir sight is identical to the one used on French AMX-40, except that the latter is installed inside the mantlet itself.
