ENAER Mirage 50CN Pantera - The cousin of the Atlas Cheetah and the Kfir

Seems like a Kfir C.7(ish) but with a worse engine, +1 for me as it’d be an interesting addition!
Could easily sit at a BR of ~11.7 and would be a great addition to the Israeli Air TT!

Also I really love the blue camo on this thing, so sick

If they ever add it, I would like it to have as secondary camouflage the one used by the Pantera prototype with its characteristic decoration on the paint.

Here I found some rare photos of the Pantera in flight where you can clearly see the paint scheme from all angles.

Looking at this images makes me realize this plane has the early kfir canard/mirage 5 wing, wouldnt make much difference right now but if this plane was added a year ago it would wing rip less than a regular kfir

The wing design never contributed to how the wing ripping occurred ingame. The Kfir C.2/7 were and still are just able to pull a bit hard and some more G’s, allowing that to happen, they had the same wing overload limitations as some of the other Kfir/Mirage aircraft. It would still have happened to this aircraft if was allowed to pull those Gs, which knowing gaijin they probably would have allowed that given the new Canard configuration.

Before when I played with the Kfir the wings would tear very quickly, now even when turning quite a bit they hold up well, do you know what the G force limit is that the Mirage/Kfir wings can withstand?

The way wing ripping occurs was overhauled and changed by gaijin a while back. This is what buffed the Kfir, F-8C (F-8U-2), Ayit, F-104, AMX, etc. the exact values and such determining the strength of the wings in unknown to me, but they should be somewhere within the files.

This, the Cheetah, Mirage III NG and Mirage 50 EV are the planes I want the most. Great thread too btw

In a latin american forum, I read the following:

DM/A-202 en la FACH, que pueden cargar hasta un total de 216 chaff cartridges y 108 flare cartridges.

So it is a maximum of either 216 Chaff OR 108 Flares. What possible combinations there are and if the Pantera could carry this max. combo are unknown to me.
Maybe I will find a better and more precise Nr. in the future.
Btw, the 202 is also the same component used for the F-5E. But also no idea if they have enough cartridges to reach that high of a number.

Here is a closer look to the dispensers. I am not sure if this is the max. amount of modules/cartridges it could use or just a reference picture.

Judging by your picture shared above about the full EW system, it doesn’t seem to be a specific number, so it might vary, depending on requirements.
I could try to reach out to a FACH crew chief with 17 years of duty, he might know more or be able to get more accurate numbers on this, just let me know.

Kind regards,

+1 for a Latin American tree

It was precisely in this part of the suggestion that I added the characteristics of the countermeasure dispenser. It also indicates a high quantity. But I doubt it could have carried that many. It’s difficult to find good photos where you can see the lower part of the fighter, which is where I think more could be carried, as I showed in some photos above.

If you could contact that person from the FACH and ask him/her the maximum number of countermeasures that the Mirage Pantera could carry, that would be great.
