It could easily go 9.7 - 10.0
It performs similar to the ucav but faster and with flares. And well lower br than a10 bc more slow and less armament.
I doubt it gets pyton missiles, max aim9L.
Indeed vehicles do have their strengths and weaknesses, and I’d also like to point out that whilst the A-10 and the Su-25 are subsonic, the former’s cruise speed is almost as high as the Super Tucano’s maximum speed and the Su-25 goes well beyond that too. As for reason for pointing this out is that this thing, with it’s addition will be a horror to grind though in air rb to get to it’s amenities that would make it useful in ground rb for example as it is ultimately a slower and more maneuverable A-10 that would seldom have the opportunity of even a snapshot versus jets manned by competent players, if you believe that it could still perform, take a Yak-9P or something like that to 9.7 and see what you can do. Likewise, you can also take a prop strike aircraft like an AD-4 to the same br in ground to preview what it could be like minus the guided weapons or just take the drone and fly it to spawn altitude for jets. It could end up being fun but in a gimmicky kind of way since air defense is plenty capable of taking it down in the br where the weapons it possesses would be appropriately placed, or alternatively it would end up being universally hated due to the SPAA’s inability to even touch it due to it’s standoff capabilities (lets say within the 9.7 range something like the ZSU23-4M4) will be unable to touch it, the only possible solution being friendly fighters, etc etc. So, kind of complicated…
It versus 8.7 would be like hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby, whilst the inverse is true for 10.7 to 11.0 I predict.
Nah it shouldnt be higher than a10 early, its worse in every aspect. At least 10.0 along with the ayit.
My logic was pointed to it seeing a downtier, you also may or may not know that IR missile seekers have a harder time locking onto the thermal signature of a prop engine at a distance, which would see early AAs relying on their guns, which is precisely what you can’t use with it’s standoff capability. I think it shouldn’t be at the same BR as the A-10, but simultaneously ground will suffer anyway, so, complicated without the ability to bring it down in br without it’s guided armament for example.

It makes no sense to say the Super Tucano wouldn’t perform well in those br (+10/+11 or more) compared with a WWII aircraft in the same br, Super Tucano with guided weapons, bombs, and even the potential to use cruise missiles, and you’re telling me it will be complicated? Are you also saying that if it’s so difficult to shoot down, it will be boring for the enemy? It’s as if you not only don’t support the idea, but you also don’t want anyone else to.
Of course it will be a strong, fun, and interesting aircraft when they add it, just like the Wolverine, Aermacchi, Pilatus, Piper Enforcement, KAI KT1, etc.

My point is that it will be just that, similar Flight performance as the planes I mentioned; which if faced against radar guided SAMs at higher BRs would likely suffer, and inversely, it would be op at lower brs due to it’s standoff capabilities that could snipe shorter-ranged SAM systems that would be unable to counter things like SBDs, GBUs especially with GPS guidance, fnf Mavericks and Hellfires, which, naturally, complicates it’s addition leaving us with 3 choices: add it incomplete as a low tier strike aircraft without any of it’s guided ordinances (which is an option that sucks), add it in with a partial set of it’s guided ordinances (laser guided stuff only) and give it a lower br than the A-10 (even by 0.3) or add it in with it’s full capabilities and see what happens at higher brs.
The point I try to carry over is that that it has the flight performance of a prop and has the standoff capabilities of an A-10 which is not easy to ballance as you may suggest, I’m all for adding it in, I want it in the game and I want other things like it to come to the game too but I can’t agree to put this thing lower than brs in which it would suffer, which is why I’m looking for solutions with you.
this plane would have no place in any battle rating it could be slotted into, itll either under perform or overperform, maybe it could be similar to the A-1H with the smart munitions removed, but i genuinely cannot think of any place where itd keep the weapons that makes it unique while being effective in combat
