pretty much
We still need to see it in action, however, Alvis doing its usual gaslighting is the second to last nail in the coffin for the EldE as it won’t be able to counter high altitude CAS, which is becoming a common tactic.
At this point, only tankies/mains can deny it. Just wait for the Russian SPAA devblog, it WILL surpass the current Pantsir.
i wouldnt be suprised to see a better russian aa, i would however be very dissapointed
Close range engagements don’t really matter when your main opposition can engage you before you can engage them at ranges beyond your own capability. The current issue is Kh-38 lobbers can sit above their own airfield and engage you. Without better missiles, the issue remains. Nothing is changed beyond non Kh-38s packing airframes might struggle more. Which hey, is also a problem.
Kh-38’s are the problem more than anything else yeah
couple things they could do to fix it
they shouldnt be able to track ground targets anyway so remove that
or just remove the entire missle from the game the 29s are strong enough, especially compared to all other nations weapons
Or just artificially nerf them like they did the Brimstones.
why not just nerf them to how they are in real life, aka ship only tracking xD
Yay: New, better SPAA
Nay: Launch range of 10-12km
Gaijin, we need SAMs with more range than that if you insist on keeping CAS so powerful
Lol.
gaijin gimme, RBS 23 BAMSE
range of 20kms as well so its great
I keep seeing mentions of the altitude being 8km so why is it being added as 5km?
As Gaijin did their research. Or they know something we don’t, or they are basing it on older sources.
no idea, will likely be bug reported if it comes to dev like that
Gunjob said he will do it.
we will see who is first xD
Linked to internal report
Ah hmm well imma do an external one anyway just in case if no one beats me to it
Don’t worry, I’ll try my best to.
The ‘Game convention, not a bug’ going mach fck to curbstomp any buff:
Game convention when my TOW ends up 7km high in space.
