I just noticed on the latest DEV update, the IIR seeker is now always on so no need for the warmup, you can now fire them with shorter time in- between :)
A funny side effect of this is that you can now turn off your radar, start driving to make the launcher tilt down, then aim by steering and adjusting speed to make the launcher tilt up/down. once you get a lock you stop quickly you can then fire the missile once the launcher is fully up again without ever having the radar on lol.
SLS seems to have 2500km/h top speed, which is roughly Mach2 (sea level). However, the air launched variant is supposed to go around Mach 3. I don’t really understand the difference, its the same missile, isn’t it? Do they calculate it from a jet going 1000km/h? But sources dont mention this.
SLM has roughly 3700 km/h, which would be Mach 3.1 at sea level.
The still in development SLX will most likely have up to 4900 km/h top, around Mach 4. There is ofc no source yet, but these are logical assumptions from miltec communities. The missile is supposed to hit targets up to 80km away.
And i am just here…
Laughing at your face…
The 2 vehicles being added to the SWEDEN TECH TREEE…
being DANISH, seriously shooting yourself massively in the foot lmao lol.
the F-35 is danish and only a squadron and the m24dk being low tier specific to help a light tank problem at its br.
Actualy inform yourself about vehicle first…
Or do you still mean the VIDAR and f5A(G) you already mentioned? lol
in that case i pity you even more, cause those are not even in the tech tree but premiums and events.
The tech tree is researchable stuff in the lines only
Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Denmark and Norway become fully fledged subtree nations, but if they do it’s a recent development. I think the Danish M24 may be an indicator, but it’s still too early to say. If the Draken had been a regular tech tree version then I’d be 100 % sure, but things didn’t pan out that way so I’m still not certain.
