For the traverse you mean? Or do you mean the german guns? The powered things on the bigger Flaks are for the Feuerleitgerät, which isnt in game and is useless in the ground role, as its for combined AA fire.

Hopefully they’ll add that LOAL function to older vehicles as well, like the Lav and Ozelot.

It’ll be pretty interesting to see how LOAL SAMs will work. Just hope they keep giving us more AAs in the coming months.

once more as it was topic in this blog already, LOAL can also mean a missle is feeded target data before launch and just activates the seeker after launch, it does not nessesary mean that you can influence target selection after launch
Even this would be helpful, especially against helicopters. It might also imply those IR missiles will have seekers that can’t be flared, so planes will have to use the terrain or defeat the missile before the IR seeker activates.

I think it will be very effective at taking down incoming munitions and saving the bigger systems so that they can focus on the far away CAS.
Thats if it can destroy incoming munitions additionally 4 missiles before reload is DOA lol, good hope but its not enough to stop me from using a Ka-50 or 52 against you lol or my Su-34 with KH-38
It is just my speculation, but it is possible it will also have the multi vehicle mehanic. They showed it in a group of 3, so it might be a possibility, but they might have also just put 3 of them next to eachother. Time will tell.

It will definitely be interesting, IF it cant destroy enemy munitions its will be DOA for me at least and ill just go play the plethora of other nations for the SPAA shenanigans until sweden is worth looking at lol. That’s like one of the big selling points of the IRIS-T, when carried by a plane it can even target missiles chasing the plane from behind.
We’ll see, it wouldn’t shock me if it turn very hard to go in a straight line but ive gotten good enough to stop most vehicles with missiles, will definitely be interesting regardless i can just move back a but and im out of its range and thats if IRIS-T can even lock me given its got a 10km max range lol, for top tier its basically a sidegrade to the ASRAD in terms of distance.

That would be really cool actually, now make the main drivable vehicle you spawn in the UndE 23 that then uses the ammo box mechanic to bring in the EldE 98 and i’m a happy Swede ^^

Im assuming same or similar time as my Type 81 which has 4 missiles and yeah you’re dead lol. Its just a tad too slow, ace crew could maybe stop me but Mach 2 is pretty fast lol.
Assuming i fire all 6 from my preferred distance as I usually would with CAS, the EldE would need to get a lock on them and reload using 6 missile for all my KH-38MT’s then if i didn’t use anything else he’s left with 2 missiles to maybe go and sit on an objective to rearm which its not very fast so instant death. By the time he gets more missiles ill be rearmed and flying from their spawns edge and hitting people again. Realistically 10km just isn’t useful given what we’ve seen unless gaijin plans to nerf all missiles to 10km which is unfair and a horrible decision. In all unless the EldE missiles are buffed to a crazy extent and CAS gets nerfed ill enjoy nuking sweden lmao. Its just a sad case of it being powercrept by thing 4x as effective in the same update. But again this is speculation and nothing is confirmed.
