I know the Maus is hard to balance but I have to say even with it being unbalanced AKA facing weaker tanks. It can be very satisfying to stop it. Hopefully with infantry mode we can see how the Maus might have faired being swarmed by troopers. Death by a thousand cuts.
Not really, it is exact problem that a lot of tanks have and there is simple solution for this: decompression from 1.0 to idk 20.0 and changing BR brackets from 1 to 0.7 but we wont get it because it would hinder monetization model.
or cause the game to take 40 minutes per match connection

gun looks different
Old E-100 image from 2015
That is the 15cm gun by the looks of it. Curious to see they planned to add that as the E-100’s main armament.
Some mod explained to me long time ago iirc that GJ did this model first to “show players how it would look like with 15cm gun”. Ofc truth is rather that someone decided that it would be to low in BR (harder to balance) with this gun so they used a excuse that 128mm is more accurate.
Iirc in original post you can find something about 150mm and 128mm.
Gaijin just made a mistake with the gun model, you can see it in the devblog:

Gaijin claimed it was a shorter 12.8cm Kw.K. 44 with a muzzle brake, this is not true. There was never a need for a shorter 12.8cm Kw.K. 44 and the gun was never meant to have a muzzle brake. It was supposed to fire discarding sabot ammunition, including Pz.Gr.Ts 12.8/8.8cm and Pz.Gr.Ts 12.8cm/10.5cm, the pepper pot muzzle brake would not be suited to firing sabot ammunition.
As seen in the image from the devblog, Gaijin also claimed the secondary weapon was the 7.5cm Kw.K. 40, the gun from later Panzer IVs, which isn’t true either. The Maus had the 7.5cm KwK 44 L/36.5, which was specifically designed for the Maus. The Maus II would have had the 7.5cm KwK 36 L/24 as its secondary weapon, which was the gun from the earlier Panzer IVs. The E 100 turret is based on the Maus II turret, with the only difference being lightened armour to reduce weight, the secondary weapon on the E 100 would also have been the KwK 36 L/24 had it ever received its turret.
To me, just seems like poor research and misinterpretation by Gaijin. The single drawing we still have of the E 100, is a drawing from when the E 100 was still a 1:1 copy of Krupp’s Tiger Maus from 1942. It still had the earlier Maus turret from November 1942, which had the 15cm L/38. Gaijin presumed this was supposed to be the turret the E 100 should have got which isn’t true. Then also presumed the gun was a shorter 12.8cm KwK 44 with a muzzle brake because the E 100 was supposed to have the 12.8cm KwK 44. At least shortly after they revealed the E 100, they then fixed the gun model to the correct to the 12.8cm KwK 44 L/55, but never gave the E 100 the proper turret designed for it.
