That’s the issue, also I’d rather not for realistic too. whats the point me grinding Britain for a firefly when I could just grind France? Currently Italy has one more tech tree firefly than Britain does, with one of them getting APDS. Why? No idea but Britain should have more than anyone IF they’re in other countries at all. Like the M8 LAC for America being a premium but tech tree for China, same with the B-10

Why not? French also can access Seafire, Crusader, and Lancaster. Even if we exclude Benelux.
Why does someone just believe that every Brit chap will not support this idea and cry about Canadian Leopard at the same time? :/
Benelux are now French’s subtree. It is fine for the French to get their Firefly now.
I am also fine with the French getting their domestic Sea Venom, Sud-Est Aquilon.

Yes only in BeNeLux separate tree.
Italy and Britain has some. Im for my homelands vehicles being in trees of other operator nations.
It’s different (which is good), but it fills the same role as a super high pen solid shot cannon on a Sherman.

But, in this game, the Germans have 5 Pzkpfw IV armed with 75/43 or 75/48 on the turret.
Which acts similarly in the game.
(Of course, they have differences with each other, but they usually share the role of glass cannon with a good gun.)
I don’t think adding Firefly to French will be a serious problem even though they share role of ‘Sherman with a super cannon and super solid shot’ with M4A4 SA50
My feelings about C&P vehicles are a bit mixed.
But wasting the Benelux subtree only for Leopard 2s (Ground) is quite lame, I guess.

It would make the tech trees less unique, and france most certainly doesn’t need it.

WDYM mate, the French need some reinforcement on their Benelux subtree in their WW2 era.
It is extremely boring to see the Leopard 2 NL series as one of the only Benelux vehicles in the French branch.
Bordomness of Gaijin just always limits subtree as ‘copy-paste the top ranks’ :/

Currently, France has only one vehicle in WW2 as Benelux subtree. M44.
and the Rest of Shermans usually already exist in the ‘French version’
(M4 105 or M4A1 can be example)
So, Firefly will be the better one for being added because French in this game doesn’t have a 17pdr gun.
Also, Fireflies will be a great addition when French lads want to assemble a 5.0BR deck
I am not sure that French lads will need both VC and IC, but at least French guys have the right to have one of these, as long as Benelux becomes a subtree of France.

Well, the British have unique domestic early jets in a 7.0-8.3BR radius but nearly nothing is playable but constantly will stomped by F-86s
And not allowed to get CL-13 Mk.4 which is directly bought from Canada because ‘it will make tree less unique’ :/
CL-13 problem is quite out of topic though.

Negative, an easy add to the BeNeLux tech tree
France has the SA50 sherman. Besides, there’s BeNeLux vehicles that could be added that aren’t copy paste, including unique sherman modifications.
M4A4 SA50 =/= Sherman Firefly.
Fireflies can throw shells at a faster rate than SA50 does.

And I think nearly none will fit into your standard.

Giving both VC and IC Firefly might be overkill but Single of them won’t hurt much.

Again, the SA50 is different, but it serves the same purpose. If we don’t need copy paste to patch a hole, then it shouldn’t be added.

I prefer VC hull on Firefly (Just for cosmetics) but I am also fine with this idea as long as it is a Firefly, and Benelux vehicle which can cover the WW2 era too.
will those dozer blades be detachable in the game?
It looks cool but will also impact the thrust ratio.
