I hope, and since it doesn’t have a pilot to be sniped it should reach its target if it doesn’t get blown up. One can only hope.

Huh, that could be interesting. Imagine you can tell your plane to fly in circles, as you can do with recon UAVs, then you “drop” a chaika/ishak and fly it towards enemy with bombs/guns equipped. Then you can RTB or just leave it and go drop another one… While you are flying with sub-plane, your main carrier plane is vulnerable to enemy.

Perhaps you should consider how Gaijin researches these vehicles, or how long it takes to create the models for the vehicles. It would be cool to see that, but much like the T-34-88, finding usable evidence to support the addition of the vehicle might take longer to get (if even possible).

A vehicle doesn’t have to be a “Wunderwaffe” to qualify for DCT.
The Sturmtiger is “just” a big mortar and the Mistel is “just” a Fw 190 + Ju 88 composite where the Fw 190 “carries” the Ju 88 and can release it as a propeller powered glide bomb.
The only reason the Mistel looks “crazy” is because the whole concept of composite aircraft isn’t very common.

So the pancake with its one of a kind flight model and extremely weird looking is not good enough because it shoots regular rounds from its guns and the kv-7 is looking too regular despite having 3 main cannons, but the sturmtiger that looks as regular as the kv-7 is the best of them all? It is very special only for its rocket yes, but the kv-7 is even more efficient in matches than the sturmtiger could ever be.
Besides, the Churchill Petard is literally in one of the nations you want such a vehicle for and its the closest thign you can get to a sturntiger.
I can sort of agree with that tho and i also think that theres other nations besides germany, us and russia that could get a dct event vehicle.
But the Vehicle itself is pretty neat as a dct event vehicle.

I’m curious on how mid air reloads will work I like playing naval EC and bomb the air fields. It will be funny to see the whole plane reappear while you flying around. I’m guessing this will act like a fritz x? Or that Japanese bomber with the guided bomb?
Hmmmm, quick question: since the Ju 88 G-10 was loaded with explosives, would it also be that easy to blow up with a burst of 7.7 mm machine-gun fire? xD
Regular t-34-85 is even more efficient, but that doesn’t make it DCT-worth vehicle.
I actually got it and it is cool! Petard is a funny vehicle.

Yeah thats the only way i could imagine it working and that could be kinda cool. Seems a bit too strong tho if u have the bomber plus 5 chaikas to rain from above onto the battlefield^^

Maybe, idk…But its also not a prototype/testbed or vehicle that was highly specialized and produced for rather special purposes in relatively low numbers.

They recently changed this such that suspended armament has a low chance to blow up unless hit by a large powerful shell, so long as it’s in bomb bay/suspended. Once it’s in flight it can be destroyed more easily. If the Ju 88 is treated as “ammo” instead of having a detailed damage model, then yes, an AA can easily neutralise it after you drop it. Although if it explodes anyway it might kill something on the ground as well as you lol.
We just don’t know. Depends how they are modelling the “ordnance” and the explosion.
