The changes to a 190 to make it carry a mistel consist of :
Removing the guns
Attaching the appropriate rack.
That’s it.
It’s not like KV-7 or Sturmtiger where it’s a chassis of a pre-existing vehicle but otherwise built completely new.
It’s not like XF5U where it’s a completely new airframe.
The closest is Churchill AVRE but this ain’t WoT, we don’t swap out guns as modifications.
The removal of guns ain’t even a requirement. The presence of guns only increases weight, it otherwise doesn’t interfere with the installation of a mistel. The wings and fuselage don’t change. It’s literally just a bomb on a rack.
Edit : removal of guns for payloads is a thing already in the game anyway. For example, Gloster Javelin. It’s not a requirement, but it was doctrine irl (just like the mistel)
There was a lot of speculation in DCT predictions thread, would be cool btw, on the other hand some nations would benefit way more from just regular additions.
This is also ignoring the larger element of the Ju-88 component (as this is a combination of two aircraft, hence Mistel) which makes this unique and not simply slap a 190 on a Ju-88.
This is an entirely unique and separate combination for the game. Not a simple “bomb” under a rack.
It’s possible they do GER + US + USSR + “someone else” which in the previous cycle was Britain. It’s also possible there’s no rule at all and they decide case by case.
