There are a solid 3 other mentions of it dating back to 2014 that aren’t explicitly suggestions, but voroshilov derivatives are highly sought after vehicles.
There hundreds of vehicle suggestions out there, devs need to balance birthday craft between: uniqueness (so it will be interesting), uselessness (so it won’t break the game nor fix the grind and not that much to miss). It has to be as we call “Not a fish and not a meat” (something odd).
Actually it might be not that bad if you compare with some previous rewards (like France reserve grade plane and Brit reserve grade tonk)
There still isn’t an argument to be had that it isn’t the “right” vehicle, as it has been suggested multiple times and circulated quite a lot through other threads. Quite a lot of information of it was given and it’s the perfect enigmatic prototype to add in an anniversary event.

I think this tank is more adequate for a BP than for Dreams come true but…
For such a meme vehicle, it’s really wacky and looks like it was designed by someone off the perc. Why is the grind 210,000 score with a pretty short timeframe to complete it?
Even in World of Tanks the developers recognise that meme status vehicles don’t require such a grind or heavy price tag behind them, and that everybody can access them at their leisure.
As the person who suggested the KV-7 way back on the old forums (and on this one as well), I honestly am kind of surprised. I was expecting this to come as a BP or TT vehicle, not DCT. Personally, I would have preferred the O-I, but hey, I’m just glad that another one of my vehicles has been implemented. I wonder if we’ll also get the U-14 (twin 76mm) version later on?
I wonder why Gaijin did not get the idea of making it an optional vehicle modification like the GWP for the TOG II.
IMHO, by far the worst DCT event yet, not because it is Soviet, just because it’s un-interesting. It’s got to be one the the most UD-esc tank ever.

I normally don’t play anything besides Top Tier, but one of the VERY few low tier BRs I play happens to be 4.0, so I was delifhted to learn this vehicle was 4.0!
Took this thing out for a test drive, is there a way to fire each 45mm separately? Both seem to fire with secondary weapons which kinda ruins the whole point of the volley tank…
Looks like you cannot, unfortunately, unless they are gonna change it to have separate firing mode.
Be great if you could load separate rounds into the 2 secondaries. Eg. One has aphe and the second has the apcr so a secondary volley fires both, best of both worlds
