I already have the F-2A ADTW, the matchmaking and AIM-7M just make it inconsistent for me to do well in (my strenghts are mostly on the ground).

The 209 just looks like a curious little aircraft.

Same, its one of my worst performing premium jet despite bein a good vehicle, personally I blame all those undertiered Fox-3 spammers.

I’m looking to get a pack, my two I’d like are the Type 16 FPS or the F-2A, the F-2A seems like the better all rounder, more premium time, more GE, slightly higher price. While the Type 16 (which I already have experience playing) would be a great bolster to my Type 90 Fuji and help the ground grind move faster.

I know I’m going to get one, I would get both, but 70$ on a random Wednesday for pixel vehicles doesn’t seem like a wise decision.

I already have to the F-4EJ in the tech tree, wanting to get the F-15J(M) before it goes up, and the Thai lines are in the way and I haven’t had the energy to play the worst phantom in the game.

it works well in uptiered matches and japan 9.3/.7 works well at 10.3 aswel
however the best place to use the hawk is in simulator

I see no reason to bring my 9.3/9.7 lineup to 11.0-11.3 where Russia dominates just because of a cas plane with 2 FnF and 2 sidewinders. It looks like its just a su25 in air too. Not worth the half price to me and I will stick to 9.3 Japan where every nations are somewhat balanced.

I still don’t know why it was added now. It would make sense when Japan got a 10.3-10.7 ground lineup through indonesia/Malaysia/Thailand, but it didn’t. What were the devs thinking adding this, like what purpose does it serve. Not a smart financial decision to add a useless premium when the f4 adtw is better than the hawk while being bad somehow.

If you enjoy the F-16s and have experience with sparrows then yes the F-2A ADTW is a great plane.

However matchmaking is super rough at the moment. You have no HMD and only AIM-7Ms but the matchmaking constantly uptiers you to planes with HMD and R-27ER or even HMD and ARH missiles.

It just looks curiously. I haven’t opened the game yet since the announcement so I haven’t really looked at the 209 in game, I was just going off looks.

Gotcha, can’t be worse than the Gripen A right? AAM-3’s turn a bit better and have a better IRCCM right? AIM-7’s it’s got have a better range and pull.
