People already ignored low-tier tanks for a long time, I can’t understand why P26/40 needs to go against T34 or M4A1 at 3.3, it just has a 79 pen aphe and a 100mm penetrations HEAT(most of the time is useless), the mobility and armor is not good as well, it should back to 3.0 to against like M4A3(105) or StugIII(105).

Yeah it’s pretty bad, the only positive is that the AP shell has a large amount of explosives in. So if you manage to shoot people from the side where their armour is weak, one shot boom.

The only thing I can do is hope that M24 or BT7 won’t appear on my side, its too slow that couldn’t have so many chance to shot the enemy’s side armor

Haha. Even in the MBTs we need to be careful of them. They are little pests and always covered in some googly eyes and bushes
Buddy, if anything, it is one of the best tanks in 3.3 BR. Its 75mm gun can overpressure anything so long as it pens, and, if you know the weak spots of other tanks, it will have no problem penning them. Not to mention the HEAT round which has 100mm of pen which is insane. Most tanks at that BR have less than 100mm of armor. And the T-34s and M4A1s? Yeah here’s a few tips.
General
Bring at least 25 or 32 shells of APHE and at least 12 rounds of HEAT
M4s
If you can’t pen their side armor, switch to HEAT and fire at their ammo. I know this from experience.
T-34s
For the 1940-1942 models, shoot at their turret cheeks. If for some reason you got uptiered badly enough to face a 1942 model, aim at its turret ring.

Oh and sorry for having to write a second time (idk how to edit replies) its mobility is pretty decent once you have unlocked all of its mods. I only have the filters mod unlocked but its speed changed drastically from an acceleration of about 15-20 kph to about 30 kph in a similar amount of time. Its turret traverse is also pretty good once you get the mod unlocked. Its armor is very good too; once I got shot 3 times by 3 people (I killed each one of them one at a time in quick succession) and sustained minimal damage to my turret components and crew.

HEAT does not always work as it should, I still remember when I fired 6 shots at the hull of the KV (75mm thick) and they did nothing to it it was like shooting snowflakes at a tank the KV had plenty of time to aim and destroy me with one shot.
I see you have combat experience, because I do too, but you forgot to mention that it’s extremely difficult to hit the T34’s slicks if it’s far away or on the move, because it’s much more manoeuvrable and faster than the P26/40, which makes it unfair that you’re forced to hit a pixel-sized weak point while the target is on the move while the T34 can hit you directly in the hull to destroy you with a single shot.
In conclusion I would avoid saying that the p26/40 is one of the best 3.3 BR tanks because it is not at all, at best it is a mediocre tank that does its job at 3.3 BR. One of the really good tanks at BR 3.3 is T34.
