Do not work on Chrome OS with Linux Support

I install the game under the Linux Support that came on Chrome OS. It install the Luncher, it start the Game screens, it ask for Login and after that it send and error of Freeze dectected

Which chromebook are you using? Are you sure it meets the hardware requirements? Chromebooks are usually good at productivity but not so good at heavy tasks. Also, have you considered switching to full Linux?

Hello @Buho3,

ChromeOS isn’t officially supported by Gaijin and I don’t think Linux on ChromeOS is really meant for playing games. What is the hardware you are trying to run this on?

Is on ASUS VivoBook year 2021
Intel® Core™ i7-8565U Processor 1.8 GHz (8M Cache, up to 4.6 GHz, 4 cores)
NVIDIA® GeForce® MX230
I try by installing the Linux version or the Steam Version, the Luncher install and run, then I get into the login screen, and after that it give me an error about Freeze Detection

I can guess that that’s because of the performance of the computer. I must say though that I’m running linux with (i think) worse components than you and it doesn’t happen every time.

No, I linke the simple interface that allow me to work fast, I put some games like CIV V, and works just fine.
I have and iMAC 2017 that was running with some crashes, but running, since the last update 2 weeks ago, it is crashing, doing the same thing as Chrome OS. I try the windows parallel on the iMac, and that is running ok.

Well, I can’t say much as I’m running the laptop with Linux. I once tried installing War Thunder into my Chromebook but I just gave up and installed Linux on it.

Right, I don’t think there are any official Nvidia proprietary drivers for Chrome OS so the problem you are having is probably either the age of the GPU drivers that come with Chrome OS or there is a issue with running WT on Chrome OS through the Linux support.

Could you please tell me what version of Chrome OS you are using?
