Gijin I don’t understand this and I need you to help me out because I’m confused and I don’t like to be confused now obviously if I’m wrong here on the timeline correct me but wasn’t it seven or eight months ago when you gave a buff to the Tiger 2’s and their Mobility (increasing their HP) because without it it took them forever to get anywhere on the map? And now not only are you rolling back that buff but you’re looking at some obscure article that I’ve never seen about transmission limiters to the speed I haven’t looked into that article probably won’t mainly because it’s a random Off the Wall article that one scrub found that probably hates German mains so he can get the tree nerfed
by the way before anyone mentions it I don’t even use my Tiger 2’s anymore with the exception of the 105 mm King Tiger which isn’t being nerfed…SO I don’t mind i use the Maus/Leopard 1/Panther F/Sturer Emil/Gepard/Tiger 2 10.5cm KwK/ I’m just confused as to why you would give the tree a Mobility buff and then yank it away and then some seven or eight months later I genuinely feel bad for the idiots grinding through the German tree because now it’s going to take them even longer to get to the point and then they’re only just going to get oneshot by a T44-100 whos gotten into position and is waiting for them to push the corner or objective or an IS-3
The Tank is ingame 10 Years and now hes overperforming sure… the standard HP is 700 not 600 !
Blockquote The King Tiger tank, officially designated Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf. B, was equipped with a [Maybach HL 230 P30 V-12 petrol engine Maybach+HL+230+P30+V-12 producing 700 horsepower(700 PS, 515 kW). Despite this, the engine was considered underpowered for the tank’s heavy weight, impacting its speed and fuel consumption
If every engine was allowed to perform at its maximum theoretical RPM and horse power, we gotta do a ton of changes to the WW2 piston aircraft! Forcing vehicles to use their rated/governed engine performance over max theoretical is quite well-established.
Only way one could justify un-rated engine performance for GRB would be if GRB/GSB had its own “MEC” with consequences for going above and beyond engine limitations (if such was possible IRL - for air, only planes that could go above their max continuous can do it. Yaks were notably designed so that max RPM and max boost didn’t kill the engine and this cannot be overriden)
to be fair there historical accuracy means nothing in this game there so many things in this game thats historically inaccurate germany gets hit by historical nerfs but no one else does kinda sad
That’s kind of my issue with this game right now or the fact that the P-47 outperformed the 109 and 190 above 13,000 ft and was faster than both of them in a dive just gets conveniently overlooked
yea if this game was realistic T34 when hit with anything cause spall due to poor armor quality. Shermans would catch fire if hit anywhere near engine room due to highly flammable ava gas for there radials aim54Cs would be able to pull 25g R27ER would not be able to go mach 5.8 YAK-141 wouldnt have missiles list goes on and on
