Best case the snail fudges some numbers finds some documents and gets all three versions (150mm, Prototype, and 105mm) ingame, and gives us the Ho-Ri II to boot.
Would give japan some damn decent tanks and clear up the Ho-Ri production issue, since it could then be removed (Hey, paper is better then made up, aint it?)
Could always be the Emil as it fits more in line, its not WW2 but it is a fairly popular tank and has most of its specs made by Bofors and such with the chassis being made. Similar to the great war modification for the TOG i dont think its too far fetched for this to be added.
No, sweden doesnt need mbts rn, id rather see more finnish vehicles be added or more mid tier stuff since there is a big lacking area around the lower BR’s
It wont happen, just like how gaijin denied the KV-1B. So get over it, sadly, its too unique for the TT and gaijin will most likely leave it as an event :(
And im against poor modeling which is ahistorical yet we have the Zerstorer, Ostwind, and Zrinyi I ect ect for that. Gaijin can do whatever they want, its unfortunately not up to us.
I would assume that they would implement the variant that was supposed to be armed, namely, the XF5U-1. I’ve definitely wanted this aircraft for some time.
I disagree with this. Dreams Do Come True, at least to me, seems to generally focus on highly requested vehicles more than anything. Sturmtiger and TOG 2 were both highly requested vehicles, hence the event’s title. That makes me doubt it will be the XP-72, it’s not highly requested, and it isn’t interesting enough to garner interest in the same way the TOG or Sturmtiger have. Given how the US has been getting a lot of prototypes as of late, I’d honestly wager it going into the standard tech tree instead.
A more likely candidate would be the V-173, the Flying Pancake. It’s a relatively famous experimental aircraft and would be more in line with the TOG 2 and Sturmtiger.
Absolutely. The XF5U-1 is just the right kind of vehicle for the event, as it is both highly requested and very wacky looking.
Another possibility is the O-I Japanese heavy tank, as it was passed to the developers earlier this year.
A further possibility is the German captured Spitfire that had the forward fuselage and engine of a Bf 109 fitted onto it, better known as the “Messerspit”. All three of these have been highly requested.
I doubt O-I on the basis that it is the only rank 3+ heavy tank that Japan can get, and from what I’ve heard, they’re trying to steal clear of locking unique experiences behind events.
I’d call the Sturmtiger and its fat rocket a very unique experience. The TOG 2 is also a rather unique experience, but less so. Knowing Gaijin, I wouldn’t exclude the possibility that the O-I appears in one of these.
But hey, if it’s a tech tree vehicle, then that’d be great too. I’m hoping the most strongly for the XF5U-1 for this upcoming event, after all.
