Anyone mind explaining the difference between the two?
Hope it isnt similar to how the F-4J and F-4S were implemented, cuz premiums are defo just sidegrades right?
If anybody is curious about the difference between the F.1 and F.1 late, F.1 Late seems to be gaijins designation for Welkin DX340, fitted out with slightly more powerful Merlin 113s, instead of the 76/77 of the regular Welkin.
A little strange to give it a (Late) designation when it’s a one off prototype, but still cool to see regardless.
Regular Welkin above, ‘late’ Welkin beneath, note the different air intake postitions under the engines.

Could have been a WW2 copypaste rampage, since BVVD said “we add around 30-40 vehicles of the first half of the 20th century” and would need to fill a quota.

We removed information regarding the GE Welkin Mk.I Late from the dev blog. This plane won’t be added in the major update, only the researchable one will be. However, the Late version may return to the game in some form (GE, event plane or something else) in the future.
