Whilst i was always a fan of the Mosquito and really appreciate that you try to add WW 2 content, i wonder why you feel the need to add stuff to the Swedish sub-tree Norway.
This is factually wrong as Norway was not “free” and the RNoAF was founded in November 1944.
Norway fought as an existing country April - June 1940. There was no Royal Norwegian Airforce until late 1944 - and Norway was occupied until VE day meaning that Norway as a Nation ceased to exist as the government-in-exile had no power within the borders of Norway.
Getting them to change incorrect history is pointless also this addition was as Smin stated the official addition of Norway as a swedish subtree. So until this update they weren’t a subtree. Denmark is the last Nordic nation thats in game currently to still yet be a confirmed subtree to any specific nation.
As much as i like the new Mozzies i have to say giving the F.II to Norway is a typical Snail stretch.
It was flown by 333 (Norwegian) Sqn RAF, and was retired in Nov 1943, a full 2 years before the Squadron was handed over to RNoAF control.
However, with the precedent set I guess it does open up the possibility of some interesting French Spitfires, Dutch Hudsons, Polish Fairey Battlles, Czech Liberators…and many more.

154 (Motor Industries) Squadron…in a Tank tree!?!
164 (Argentine–British) Squadron…in the German Tree?

I believe the British will be getting the NF.II (with radar and Night paint) and TR.33 - same but different to the Norwegians. Not sure if its been confirmed officially yet.
Wondering if the British tree will be rejigged. Rather than 4x Mozzies foldered it could be split in to two pairs with NF.Ii & FB.XVIII. FB.VI & TR.33.
Yeah thats what it says above plus another mosquito next patch which based on the hints seems like it might be the one with the 4000lb bomb. Was just wondering cause the way you worded it made it seem like they weren’t adding the Mosquitoes to Britain.
Norway, Finland and soon possibly Denmark, its just too much. Sweden is like a black hole for foreign tech. So many vehicles…tanks, planes, choppers from nations across the board.
Mosquitos should go to UK, Arados, 109’s to Ger and so on.
Not really, it was answered on a QnA a few years back then sweden was planned to be a Nordic TT. Besides its not like every vehicle from their subtrees are going to be added.
Besides how is it any different from France having 3 subtrees via BeNeLux, (now waiting for Luxembourg lol), or Britain having SA, India, and now a chance at any commonwealth vehicle?
I only ask cause you never have anything to say that isn’t hostile about sweden its always sweden is better at this and that and why doesn’t Germany get x thing. I get some problems but half the time you cry about random stuff for the sake of crying and ignore relevant information given to you.
I’m still catching up on Dev server news but I’ve only seen the Norwegians shown so far. Maybe 2nd Dev for the Brit versions, or even just dropped on update day.
There is the mysterious ‘interesting’ future version that has been hinted for Nov. I suspect we will finally get a bomber in 2000lb amd 4000lb variants (or as a mod as some B.IVs were modified). Knowing Gaijin it could equaly be another fighter such as one of the late NFs with a matchinh Swedish J30. Either way a Two stage Merlin would nice to separate it.
From what i saw the British ones are on the dev but they are just copy pasted models of the Norwegian ones for now. They are definitely still WIP as they have a lot of texture mesh problems.
I’m fine with the Norwegian Mosquitos being in the game but they should go to Britain… like the Hunter F.58 should have been, like the Indian T-90 should go to USSR, like 90% of low tier China should just not exist or go to their own countries
Thats on gaijin, Norway is going to be more unique going into the cold war to modern day era because of Kongsberg and their ventures.
Snail figures its easier to C&P to multiple trees to give multiples things to nations, less effort then making individually unique vehicles. Same deal with Denmark except they have a few unique Spitfires with stronger engines and changed wing designs as they mixed parts from later war vehicles but again they will mainly be C&P for the early game until Cold war and modern which is what the snail will do because C&P is an easy fix. Finland could’ve been very unique unfortunately its nearly all copy and paste. Why add T34-75 (pak 40 gun) or Sturmi, why add T72 FIN MOD with new engine ERA and 25kph reverse. Again its just easier for the snail to copy and paste.
The Mossies and the Hornet need an overhaul, genuinely the handling is nothing like anything described by test pilots even Winkle Brown’s on excerpts don’t bare resemblance to what’s in-game.
