I sincerely hope that this was also applied to the larger variant of this map. I also sincerely hope that you guys have fixed the spawn camping issue on the larger variant. The larger variant was easily the worst map design I have ever seen in a video game.

What’s the size to do with anything? Australia is the smallest continent btw and the other continents have maps. Australia also has more the outback. We have every biome. Oldest rain forest on the planet, desert, grass plains, wet lands, temperate Mediterranean regions, snowy mountains and rugged bushland.

It’s very nice to see an update to Ardennes, it’s one of the more fun maps to play.

I am almost willing to bet real money the rose tinted glasses nostalgia about white rock fortress will vanish within first week of the update release.

Are we expecting spawn-to-spawn spots been fixed? Specially in missions where the spawn is in the fields?

If you got “stuck” in the mud once . . . Surprise!!
If you got stuck in the mud more than once . . . what are you even doing?!?!

Every place where they had it before was easy to just . … go around.
And I never got “stuck” . . . not once, just slowed down . . . petty annoyance.

The one and only actual problem with that map was . . .
The Matchmaker placing ground vehicles with too high of a BR on it.

It was made for lower tier’d/BR’d when it was designed and implemented.
The entire ground game or “meta” if you will(not a fan of that meta or it’s use)
was quite different when it came in, but ofc changed over time.

As far as I can see, that is all that was ever wrong with that map,
and they did the same thing with other older maps, like Ash River, etc.

The early adoption of the “one size fits all” concept for ground maps,
(which we still see today) may put more maps in the rotation for more BRs
but it is not always conducive to good game play(they do it with air & naval maps too)

At any rate, I do not think the map is bad at all, was quite fun and had several
variations that were fun to play and I missed not getting to play on it.

I just never understood some players losing their minds because they
got slowed down by a mud puddle that was so easy to go around . … baffling
