all the challengers in Desert Storm used L26, there is no reason to stop it getting it, the Wolfpack and TURMS-T got an improved top round so why not the Chally DS?

No it doesn’t, but they should all have an air to air radar as well, but not a huge amount of info has been found for it yet except that it existed

Any news on more british bombers? Such as the Washington B Mk.1 that was passed to devs in 2014, V-Bombers, TSR.2 and F-111K/Australian F-111 as they have all currently been skipped past?

The Navy used the S.2Ds, which were Buccaneer S.2 airframes upgraded to use Martels. These would sort of be a middleground between the S.2 and S.2B in terms of weapons capability.

do we have an answer to what happened to the unique missile control for the martel missiles as it was removed from the dev blog as i was kind intrested in what they would do with it

At the moment, it’s identical to any other F&F TV guided missile. Semi useless looking currently

As Martels won’t be fixed as per the bug reports and thus are basically worthless… Can we get 9Ls removed and the BR dropped down to 9.3 where the aircraft might actually serve a purpose?

So now that they have been implemented just like Mavericks, what went wrong here?

on one hand the Challenger 2 is looking like a challenger 2.
on the other hand Martels are worse Mavericks.

Not for much longer.

I’m currently working on a bug report that could reduce the Electro Optical & IIR Maverick seekers’ performance by 25~75%, depending on the corrective action taken. It’s less of an issue since there are still the IIR(Correlation seekers ; -65F &-G), SALH (-65C & -65E / -L) & CCD(-65K & -H) seeker variants to be added which would go part of the way to restoring current performance.

Developer decision. Man in the loop is not planned and it will use existing ingame lock functions.

Brightside to that is the seeker is basically like the James Webb Telescope right now.

@Flame2512 was also ready for this and reports are in to buff the seeker some more to it can still be used at the same ranges.

Let’s just hope the games render distances allow for it to be used that far. I have mixed results above 10km with TV seekers

Man in the loop not being added is understandable, but i hope they reconsider the approach logic of the TV Martel

The AJ168 has 115 seconds of engine time, which is terrible.
