Okay this legitimately doesn’t work. Kh31 lofts too much to hit them, and misses. Why is the search radar not on by default?
I agree. A MiG Killer would be great! Especially since that one was only recently placed in the NMM too.
Out of all Dutch F-16’s in RNLAF history it’s the most notable one and could be a F-16AM Block 20 so would be historically accurate.

just doesn’t make sense as who will want to squadron grind the same vehicle twice? if anything that would put people off doing that and they may as well make it a gold premium as that’s what people will do, i know i will as im not grinding the same vehicle twice for months at the sold rate of 20krp per 3/4 days
What ?
Why ?
Why add a unique missile that does not do anything unique as it should be doing ?
Why add the F 14 D at all now ?
This thing is historically inaccurate now more than ever.
That’s realism the planes will have to play now, and the anti-air guns too :=
Isn’t it unique? It simply eliminates the need for the missile’s coiling system, as it is no longer necessary
But it has always been clear that the F-14D is nothing revolutionary, it is simply an F-14B with improved electronics, radar and IRST. The big change is if the gaijin adds the ST-21
What is historically inaccurate
so the spyder will be reworked for players aswell?
Did anyone at all test this before pushing it to Dev? The change has done functionally nothing. NATO munitions could already target midfield Crotale. Pact was the one unable to use ARMs on the midfield. This change has not equalised the status quo nor given ARMs more usability. The search radar needs to be active by default, not only when firing.
7-10km is only usable to NATO, but NATO already was able target and destroy it. Except even then we’ll have issues because ALARM won’t be able to engage such a short range threat. Even at the outer most bound of detectability, kh31 cannot hit the target.
Will this be corrected to have the search radar active to begin with? Coupled with the current interception rates, a constant search would not make these targets trivial. Even if not purely for providing adequate targets for the midfield to use ARMs against like the change is claimed to be for, SACLOS missiles guided by Ivan the Unmissing are unreasonable threats to just have only pop up when well within their kill radius with no indication as to the threat’s location prior to avoid pathing badly.
I don’t doubt it. I might be questioning it.
@Smin1080p_WT Hi smin
Is Aim54C+ will be rebalanced?
In game Aim 54 A = Aim 54 C+
But C+ has Mach 5 speed and new engine
I think it will be same rocket as Facour 90
With UP Br ofc
At last time was many reports about this, can you comment it pls?
You said this several updates ago when France continued to not receive domestic types
Worse or slightly better?
I’ll piggyback off of this, the C+ also has the TWT transmitter from the AMRAAM, so a total seeker head improvement as well. But they give us a copy of the C citing “new cooling” despite it having no effect in-game.
That’s totally fair lol. First preorder I have ever made with War Thunder 😂 I got enough money for the preorder by selling some vehicle coupons on the Marketplace that I wasn’t going to use. So, I was able to sell off enough stuff there to use GJN to preorder the F-14D, rather than direct cash.
they are different
No ?
we can pretend this didn’t happen
I think we need new engine and speed only, it will be balanced (pretty same rocket as Facour)
???
In game? Max speed near Mach 2
change my mind
C+ has Mach 5
in game only 4.3
Well the engine and body of the C+ are the same as the C. The differences are the TWT seeker, non-liquid cooling, new ultra-high-speed computer chips and the low-sidelobe antenna improving ECCM. Both the C+ and C just need their motors fixed, but it’s one in the same
