Dev Server Feedback Update - Heavy Cavalry

it’s almost worse than the MiG-29 in a df…

I don’t think so, but I’ve had such a bad time with the plane on other occasions that I’ve formed the opinion I have of it

Hi @Smin1080p_WT, i would like to grab your attention in regards to the following report Community Bug Reporting System

The closure of this report under the “not enough info” label overlooks the nature of the provided data. The attached documents are not speculative third-party claims they constitute primary industrial evidence published directly by the original design bureau, JSC NIMI named after V.V. Bahirev, and its parent holding company, Tecmash.

Because these materials are official technical data sheets distributed by the manufacturer at state-sponsored defense expositions (ARMY-2019 and ARMY-2021), they do not possess a traditional multi-page book structure. The single-page documents contain all necessary authentication, explicitly featuring the official corporate branding, manufacturer headers, and contact logistics.

  • The documents are authored by the sole state engineer of the projectile, satisfying the highest standard for historical and technical accuracy.
  • The English technical placard directly states the 125mm 3VBM23 round with 3BM60 APFSDS projectile is “intended for defeat modern upgraded tanks… including intense reactive armor.”
  • The Russian technical sheet confirms identical specifications and explicitly notes its capability against “усиленной динамической защитой” (enhanced dynamic protection / ERA).

Furthermore, given that this munition remains in active modern service, higher-level technical blueprints and diagrams are legally restricted. They cannot be posted here, as doing so would directly violate Gaijin guidelines regarding classified or restricted military documentation. Consequently, these official data sheets distributed directly by the designer represent the highest tier of legally publishable, unclassified primary source evidence available.

As official manufacturer documentation confirms that the 3BM60 was explicitly engineered to counter advanced reactive armor arrays, this round should logically receive the same anti-ERA performance characteristics being implemented for its counterparts.

Best regards.

Are we getting the J-16 anytime soon, or is it still too advanced for the game right now? after this update.

Served with the F-14D while aboard the USS John C Stennis (CVN 74) in Afghanistan as well as Iraq, and I can tell you from first hand knowledge that they were using the AIM-9X before retirement. Just as the F/A-18 E “Rhino” were using them. So, why aren’t they being added to ANY top tier US aircraft?

Hello,

We have made a report regarding the Sepv3:

Please look into the PDF and Bug Report

So this new crash / J-out mechanism was introduced.
I believe it’s malfunction/not functional in SIM games. This must be a mistake/bug. Nobody can be so **** to leave this mechanism out of the game-mode that needs it the most.

Also we’ve had not had any new map for many years, not even the Falklands map that was promised. This must be a mistake as well, somebody must have forgot to click the enable button for all the new great maps for SIM?

I’m sure these are just small oversights and these issues will be addressed promptly before the release of the new patch. Thank you for your attention.

@Smin1080p_WT i have noticed that the SPICE 2000/1000 dont have the man in the loop mechanic im just wondering if this is intentional or just a bug

CAS is op wdym

i think he is talking about nuclear thunder while AAs do struggle a bit in ground (except russian AAs those things need to be nerfed hard) in nuclear thunder they will evicerate you from across the map after getting 2 ft off the airfield (except on russia because for some reason NATOs radars wont go that far)

Oh that makes sense

Aaaand the most detailed report ever submitted denied for not enough information

Nuclear Thunder SPAA making CAS seem like its not OP at all LOL

TLDR (because I tend to yap), it’s too soon for IIR missiles and Gaijin likes to add things across the board and not leave it to one nation only (F-14A being the exception for obvious reasons). Give it ~3 more updates (end of year at the latest, if not early '27) and they should be here, likely limited to current and/or future ~14.7+ aircraft.

(We like to incrementally increase the suffering by limiting which BR range has what technology/capability)

“Gaijin likes to add things across the board and not leave it to one nation only”

How are you coming to this conclusion?

Anyways, it’d be logical to leave out Eurofighters and Rafales until 5th gens arrive, that would 100% be heavily in their favor until 5th Gens arrive

When is the update dropping

I assume that’s intended:

If you think they should have it then you can make a historical report for it. You can report it here: Gaijin.net // Issues (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about)

A guide on how to report can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)

for historical issues they have some requirements for sources:

Appreciate the feedback. Also, PLEASE don’t go through with that “man in the loop” nonsense for it will, without certainty, destroy top tier ground RB. It’s toxic enough without that mechanic.

Nah, they’re still enjoying the money from D’assault currently
