Dassault Rafale - Variants, Characteristics, Armament and Performance

The F4.1 can carry 8 missiles (Mica), however we do not yet know if it will be able to fire the Mica NG. An improved variant (the F4.2) is therefore planned to allow the plane to carry these missiles.

In any case, the information concerning the Mica NG should be taken with a grain of salt because the missile is not yet operational and everything can still change.

That’s very informative!

Can you please point me to a source that says SP3 is enabled in F4.1?

I’ll have to point it out when someone asks.

I will give you the source in a few hour, I’m currently using my phone and my information are on my computer

Thank you so much!

You can contact a Tech Moderator for anything that’s bug report related. Especially since TMs are now anonymous, you can contact any TM no problem.

Edit. ALSO, I think everything that has been said about the 8 MICA pylons. The F3R can carry it in Indian service. The French never used it except in prototypes/display vehicles.

Now, despite not being operational, it seems that the F3R has this capability. The devs are certainly aware of all of that and will take balancing decision based on these informations and the statistics of the Rafale and EFT in game.
I think it will be counterproductive to keep talking about it and reporting it for now.

i dont want to talk about the Leclerc on this thread, but just this last one message.
I already told that its not because the stats are good than the tank is.
Win rate is influenced by which ally you often have & the line up in general (so cas can be included)
Gaijin doesnt fix, not because its already good (i mean, not gimped) but because the stats are good, and stats can be good in a “mediocre” tank (to the extreme) iif the players are good.
End of the discussion

Only the rafale M did not use the hmd because it’s quit heavy for a carrier take off and landing, the f4 will have a new upgrade hmd with less weights

Kind of interesting cuz there is a video of its use in combat and its producing a notable amount of smoke in said video. Might due to environmental conditions at the time, I think it was posted around april-ish, so I might still have been cold enough for the water vapor to condense.

The 2 hardpoint were added on the F3.1 standard, F3R add the Meteor compatibility, MICA can be equipped on every hardpoint but the french army never fully equipped there plane except for statistics purposes the drop tank hardpoint can also have air to ground ordinance like AASM 250/500 and GBU 12/16/10/22/24/48/49, only the belly hardpoint cand have AASM 1000 on F3 standard the F4.1 add compatibility for 3 AASM 1000

Do you have any sources for this information? Because to my knowledge no equipment can be carried under the wing points equipped with the fuel tanks.

Furthermore (to my knowledge) the GBU-48 has never been qualified for the Rafale

Where did you find that info, I make another Report

For the airbrake report from what i understand they said they need more proof because they think is impossible to do in flight

I have this video from Ate Chuet (ex Rafale pilot) who describe the plane being in an airbrake mode https://youtu.be/cpzgQzGXLLo?si=4XHeXU-2cY2e_G7F&t=1001

I think it will not be enough but i remember an other one when he talk about it, but i can’t find it. I need help

I also have like 8 other photography of rafale in airbrake mode

Guys, i think something is wrong about my Rafale, wonder what could it be tho.

MICA are acting strange

One of them decided to be invincible and acting like he isnt there, other one is fused with fuselage.

left belly MICA is actually on the right wing hardpoint.

i dont see why it wouldnt be possible, it would be the same function as the F-16’s flaps

The problem with your tests is that there is no way to know if the speeds at which you tested turnrates are optimal. You’d need to test ITR and STR at different speeds to determine what speed is optimal, and what are the best possible ITR and STR with this FM.

For instance it’s highly unlikely that the best STR for the Rafale is achieved around 350 kph, both in game and IRL.

Also these tests have to be done in full real control mode.

Can’t play rn to test it though.

Regardless, thank you for your work and your reports!
