Dassault Rafale - Variants, Characteristics, Armament and Performance

As 1 whole sub tree, called Benelux,… and it’s not even remotely fair to originality,… pretty much all models existed before.

wait hang on, the MICA in game goes on the HAMMER pylons? i am losing it

@Cpt_Bel_V @Tagalyaga Don’t get me wrong, I would also rather see an earlier Standard of the Rafale instead of the second latest. F.3.3 (or just F.3 “Late” lol), would have also been enough and compareable to the EFTs we are now getting. While it would lack AASM-L, GBU-16 and Mk.80 series (who is going to use these anyway while having AASM-IIR as Kh-38MT equivalents), as well as AESA which arguably isn’t needed, but still very capable.

This specfic Rafale is what I’ve talked about earlier; its the C101 testbed (previously known as C01, which to my knowledge also lacks a significant amount of avionics, which can also be clearly seen on the pictures) that doesn’t have a lot in common with production ones.

Which is correct. The MICAs on the C101 are mounted on the new additional Pylons, which were added with F.4.1, also known as SP3 pylons.

its still three different countries.

I mean, for all those arguing we all know what the worst Best solution is

Britain gets an Indian Rafale and france gets the Austrian eurofighter (or something, idk)

AND neither get their own aircrafts

This photo dates back to 2014 at least so it way before F.4 was a thing

Yeah I don’t really get it either, they are adding a loadout-downgrade to the 5F but it has AESA… why not let it run 6 Mica 2 Magic ?

They just quoted something that doesn’t disprove the report either which is whatever atp

I guess we’ll see if they buff the micas like people said would happen if we don’t get more missiles… LOL

Yes, the other pylon is only available since the F4.1

[DEV] Rafale is missing Radar Cross Section reduction features

This one might be difficult to get passed, sadly sources are really hard to come by. If anyone has better sources for Rafale RCS, please share them!

I don’t get why people think MICAs will be fixed if Rafale performs bad. That’s not how the snail operates. It never is, or was. Simplest example being instead of fixing Leclercs, they chose to add Leopards. We never asked for Leopards.

Guess how was the Magic buff/corrected

The Leclerc is one of the best tanks in the game and has one of the best win/game ratios.

Ha , ha , ha,… so wrong - military programs in France works so the Testbed will be severly modified to test out any ideas, that could be used on industrialized 10-20years later on Series.

This is the same story about those hardpoints.

Rafale M F1 Late would be BR 14.0 ? Why ?

None AASM IR seeker and Damocles targeting pod

But I might not think gajin considered in 2 or 3 major update, at least

Equipments like Rafale B & C F3-R but Exocet anti-ship missile it’s exclusive for french navy

Here:

man i love modern aircraft, but i also hate them for warthunder due to stuff like this being so confusing

FM, radar aspect, avionics

So why does the F3.3’s cockpit show a pylon that supposedly doesn’t exist? What would go there?

Especially on non-demo fighters using that slot?

F4.1 began in 2021 and entered service in 2023 according to Dassault Aviation, 2014 is before F3R was even a thing

Maybe because that’s why they refused to upgrade the Su-27 R-77 to R-77-1? ^^"

Began? You’re that naive?
For real bro, i have worked with DGA before, i know how they work around programs.

If they had more money, F.3R would have been recieving those SP3
