Rafale loadouts seem that they were still undergoing construction during devstream. The plane in general is stil under construction dev wise anyway.
Made a small chart of rafale version, let me know if you see an error somewhere (and don’t mind the order at versions F3.4 and F3-O4T too much X))
Source used : https://omnirole-rafale.com/avionique/evolutif/ (tried to keep what would be relevent in gamemost of the time)
Okay
By the way I asked Smin for information on the guidance of the IR version (he probably won’t answer me), from what was shown during the server dev it seems that an IR lock is necessary for shooting unlike the IRL operation
Well was to be expected as true LOAL is not in game
Yes I expected it but I sent the message to know if it was voluntary to limit the capacities (which would be normal) or if it is a design error. It is mainly to know if I should start making a bug report for it.
For tonight I will try to do the bug reports for the GBU-49, Mk81 and Mk83
datamine is up so OSF is same as PIRATE. Range is same as other IRST in game currently but its +90/-90 in horizontal and -14/+60 in vertical
radar in datamine is clearly called RBE2
Can anyone confirm if it has AESA or not
nope its RBE2 PESA and in game files there is no mention of it being F3R
BVV_d confirmed AESA. It was also displayed as “F3-R”, so yea.
Radar name has to be changed to RBE2-AA then (also display name has to be fixed, should be “F.3R” not just “F3”).
- Rafale F3-R
- F3-R+ is Standard equipped with AESA
- Shown ingame as RBE2
- Thales page calls AESA radar RBE2
The radar is RBE2 but the AESA upgrade is RBE2-AA
Awesome, weird they skipped so many models tho
Perhaps they are undecided
RBE2-AA with the AA being, I believe, “Antenne Active”, for AESA indeed
I am as confused as you are m8. (Hope to get an answer to this question soon to)
Properly doing a kitbash
one possible explanation :
They wanted to add AASM Laser at all costs, and only F3R can carry it
https://www.safran-group.com/products-services/aasm-hammer-tm-highly-agile-modular-munition-extended-range
There is a problem with the AASM hammer and that is that it doesn’t fly the way it does in real life. You can use this file to correct the trajectory.
So I’m not telling you not to do things the way you want; but few on this particular thread are likely mad enough to download and open a zip from an unconfirmedm, untrusted source.
haven’t used the dev server yet, but let me guess : it flies like a PGM ?
