Dassault Rafale - Variants, Characteristics, Armament and Performance

And know Zayf, who made the report for the rafale, and I can assure you that this was not done malisciously. The fact that the bingo appears 1 minutes and a half later could also explain that he didn’t actually look at that part specifically and missed it.
But if we start blaming reporters for misusing sources, I’ve got some for the EFT as well…
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/yLTLXyw6s9tj
Here flame claims that the PIRATE acts as a passive LRF, using a source talking about PIRATE’s missiles slaving capabilities that directly mentions that PIRATE would need and external LRF for future improvements, directly contradicting the claim he had using the source

There were also several times were a few people gatekept sources for the EFT and claimed it was u overperforming, with all the community backing them, and when someone actually took the time to go to the British archives and shared the documentation that was gatekept, everyone could see that according to those documents, the EFT was in fact not underperforming in most metrics.
If this isn’t at least as bad as what you claim the French reporters are doing, then I don’t know what is

Ah yes, and how do you arrive to this conclusion ?

Well, calling them a liars is such a bold statement to be honest, and again not making counter report (except for the latest counter report which is good) definitely would help Rafale getting nerfed to its “Historical” performance.

Well tbf, I rarely played Ground, so yeah that’s why I say I could be wrong, I never know Kh-38 thread was filled with that kind of bashing. But in defence of this:

I don’t see any problem with this, like, what’s wrong with crypost? It’s also happening in the EFT Thread. So we’re cherrypicking free speech now?

At first you said this:

And then this:

It’s yourself that bring this as part of the issue, and regarding the BR tbh there’s nothing we can do because it’s Gaijin sole decision to decompress the BR. Gaijin being blatantly favourting France (despite only in top tier air specifically) is Gaijin’s fault, not the Bug Reporter. The bug reporter being lying is the actual seperate issue, because if so, you and your friend should make counter report of it, which is the last report are actually good and at least can satisfy your hatred towards the French Playerbase.

Some of the mods have proven to not be the most… unbiased… people out there, with there being quite a few very questionable bug reports getting accepted, sometimes within minutes of being put up, only to be shut down later by another mod actually checking the sources validity and tearing the bug report apart. A recent notable example of this being this bug report claiming the MICA was missing kinetic energy

The devs failing to actually do their due diligence though is flagrantly unacceptable, but not unsurprising considering their track record at this point.

Well, every mod has their bias towards certain aircraft, but in the end their bias means nothing if Gaijin denied it.

Mods are people too. They can have bias. Having spoken to some, they have their preferences, and yeah that’ll one way or another influence which report they look at first. Commitment to the task is more important when the job is not only voluntary, but heavily laborious.

A lot of them come from the community, so of course they will have their choices one way or another on prioritising reports. But that isn’t to say they’re inherently malicious for that. Though I do admit the lack of personal touch on some report reactions leaves pretty bad connotations when sudden and without thorough explanation.

If you continue to start pointless arguments, I will report you to an Forum moderator.

To be honest, I have no ill will towards your favorite aircraft, but you continue to make outrageous claims and cause chaos here.

I had a positive opinion of you at first, but as time goes on, you are one of the users I don’t want to see here.

I don’t see any difference between you and Mulutu, who you seem to hate.

Is there a statistic for the average age of people posting on the forum?

I don’t even think Gaijin logs the age of the playerbase, much less that those figures would be available publicly

Only way that would be known is if someone made a poll on the forums. However, I doubt the mods would allow that.

On the rest of the discussion: In the end, it’s just misplaced frustration from how the Devs decided to treat the two planes. If implemented properly, they should be equals with different strengths/weaknesses, but they’re just not.

The Rafale was added in it’s strongest form possible (for air combat at least) and has been given some leeway from the devs to achieve it’s performance benchmarks, because Gaijin just doesn’t model drag & delta wings that well.

The EFT on the other end was added in it’s earliest configuration (for air combat) and repeatedly ahistorically nerfed (not to mention it’s completely butchered radar). Even primary sources on well known performance figures where denied, hence the infamous marketing lies.
Some of it also comes from a particular person that repeatedly and purposefully misinterpreted sources to get it nerfed (and still does)(no Idea if that is happening in the other direction as well, I haven’t paid attention to Rafale reports that much).

Directing this frustration here is not the right place, but it also just happens to be the easiest one and where it comes up the most

This is truly unfortunate.

I also own an EFT (FGR.4), but I have hardly been able to use it due to radar issues.

I hope the developers will communicate more and make efforts to prevent such errors from occurring again.

Will the Rafale FM return to what it was before the Hornet Sting patch when this report is applied?

It will be more like mixed of pre Hornet Sting and after Hornet Sting. The supercruise wouldn’t change that much tbh unless there’s proven otherwise again like that report.

Probably, since the drag would still be the same as now I guess(?)

Not really
They might increase the drag or decrease the lift
Or more likely they will decrease the Oswald efficiency

Are you referring to when somebody found the 1986 document and claimed it was representative of typhoon?(they found the wrong doc, and so the report they made was binned).

Wasn’t the drag correlated to the supercruise report?

That’s why I said that they might just decrease the Oswald efficiency

Means the rafale will have more drag while pulling

Wasn’t that when France was still part of the program?

Maybe it is actually talking about the rafale /s
