Sauce ?
Afaik 23% intake loss isn’t a thing in game, at least for top tier jets.

possible,
my point was just that it doesnt really make any sense for the flanker to lose more thrust than the rafale
Math man math
0.9×101325=91 192,5 Pa
Fass Flow= m×p*/sqrt(T*)×q (lamda)×Fin
he is talking about real life
The Rafale requires specific installed thrust to meet certain sources. Sources state the Rafale when weighing at 16.1 tons will take-off in 9 seconds. The current in-game intake losses meet those requirements. Take-off is determined by weight and static thrust or thrust-to-weight ratio. A reduction of static thrust would mean that the data-points no longer are being met and is then unrealistic.
If you compared “official” thrust figure and in-game static thrust for each top tier aircraft in-game, none of them would show a 23% intake loss.
Your “maths” don’t add up with how the game works.
Also yeah I forgot to mention the current supersonic performance matches or underperforms all known data points.

What exactly is pressure loss? How is it different than thrust loss?
This isn’t relevant to the game.
All it comes down to is the amount of thrust that is lost between installed and bench thrust. And all the aircrafts in game follow a basic percentage reduction law.
You wanting 58 kN means a direct 23% loss according to Gaijin’s modelling, which isn’t anywhere close to what they did for other jets. End of the argument.
Well, that’s a lie, since sometimes gaijin can be adjusted according to Zhukovsky’s schedules, and it’s also wrong.
They did this for other planes as well.
What planes have 20%+ intake thrust loss in-game?
MiG-23,29, Su-24
I can’t verify what you said but if true then that is unfortunate. But it doesn’t change the fact that the Rafale is required to have only 10% of static thrust loss in order to meet take-off requirements.
AL-21F-3
MIl 5990
AB 6430
stand 7800 and 11200
Takeoff is 9 seconds, at what mass at what temperature? Can be compensated for by reducing drag
Drag doesn’t really have anything to do with take-off. 16.1 tons for Rafale and taking off at 125 knots in 9 seconds. If Mig-29’s static thrust is incorrect, you can bug report its take-off run.
You’re right about Mig29, just calculated a 19% loss compared to the wikipedia figure.
Doesn’t mean Rafale should face the same issue though. Different design from a different era, for different purposes.
Also drag on the Rafale is already really low and doesn’t affect the take-off run anyway, since take-off speeds are really low.
Perhaps the friction of the wheels needs to be reduced, and either the lifting force needs to be increased
This has already been reported dozens of times.
Someone tell gaijin then cuz they somehow gave it the highest high speed acceleration in-game, which doesnt exactly scream “optimised for subsonic and low speed performance”
