Then what makes you think some British MOD documents its hundred percent accurate about Rafale’s true flight performance?
According to Dassault Rafale can achieve Mach 2.0 while bug report suggest or should be reduced to Mach 1.7-1.8 due to some British MOD documents.
Why wouldnt they be?
Why would Britain lie about the capabilities of the Rafale?
Data is likely from French sources or export customers who have tested or procured Rafales.
Defence companies talk and while 90% of arms procurement is political they are still going to be aware of testing data.
The same with the various data we use for armour values came from Swedens evaluation.
Rather than lying they might have information about GE404 engine performance on Rafale that was tested before.
And main data suggest that Rafale’s top speed is Mach 2 which means British Mod has most likely have information about G404 engine performance rather than M88’s.
Maybe, Gaijin have modelled the correct thrust in game for the M88.
In all seriousness no one is ever going Mach 2.0 or above in the game right now.
Maps are too small
I believe that is the case, but still lacks top speed on the deck.
According to first bug report top speed should also be 800knots which means with 5 percent rip limit it should reach 1500+km on deck.
I’ve managed to get Mach 2 on one match and that was 2 years ago, i was chasing enemy Mig23 in my Mig23MLD at very high alt and didnt even realized i was crusing at mach 2 until game told me to reduce my speed :)
Agree, If Gaijin wants to introduce more sophisticated weapon systems and Jets they should increase the size of map and redesign the objectives.

I dont think Typhoon or Rafale fms are finished with I see future changes for both just have to see how it all plays out now :)

Hopefully both jet recieves their accurate flight model and weapon systems, i love all European Delta Canards and i would like to see them with their full potential :)

To generate interest for export sales of the Eurofighter, last time I checked a large chunk of the defense labour market in the UK revolves around producing components for Typhoon
It does but you cannot lie about actual real world performance, anyone with google can see it.
With pleasure, personally i dont think i will use F-22 nor Su-57 too much considering Delta Canards are my favourite :D

At that time there was no export. The sole tester of the rafale was Dassault and the French MoD (DGA) (document from 1992-1993).
So it’s either GE404, which had public information, or the DGA authorized dassault to send more precise documents on the m88.
You might tell me France would have given its best performance value to get the market, but I just want to point out that during that time France had tried to export the Leclerc while not providing actual armor value (and thus many testing countries had to downplay its actual armor, sometimes even implying that they would treat the armor as if it was an AMX30).
France at that time seemed to have been keener on keeping its values secret rather than insuring export sales
Also France MOD is so keen on revealing data points that so far almost all Rafale datapoints were found through tests and trials ran by many countries but France so basically a lot of clear documentation available on Rafale today is not even 100% French so i doubt the MOD kindly would reveal the true requirements of Rafale to a country which thhey don’t work with and even worked against in that case.
After looking at it i think the British got the Rafale A performance data with F404s but when asked for further data on M88 Rafale C that was denied. That is what i hatve gathered so the top speed report will be props be denied
I mean it’s kinda logical MOD wouldn’t give all data about latest tech in development. Would you give your homework to a rival of yours?
I didn’t submit the report about Rafale speed.
And if I did not submit a report about the Gripen using that document you would be accusing me of withholding information in order to protect the British Tech Tree. I can’t win.
Can you point to any other instances of my trying to nerf Gripen / Rafale?
