Its going to be even worse when we get F18C and SU-30. It will be the worst top tier jet and even if we get F4.1 it might not change.

Well Rafale has less incorrect with its flight model.
It’s largely drag and sustained turn.
Again, it wouldn’t. You’d get 36 pops of notably less effective flares, vs 32 far more effective countermeasures.

32 flares is nothing, The rafale is awful in BVR and you will have to go for dogfights or engage at medium ranges, where you are highly vulnerable to IR missiles. You cant conserve flares effectively either, as its often unclear whether the enemy has launched an IR missile or an ARH one

So like. We have this thing called an RWR, tends to give you a warning on an ARH launch at which point you can fire chaff. If it is not giving you an ARH warning, you can fire flares. They are large caliber, you don’t need that many.
Against 9M, you need volume, not strenght. And preflaring works fine against R73 or magic II

The Rafale currently lacks a 360 RWR and in dogfights, the enemy is often in its blind spot
Forgot to mention the endless RWR pings from enemies and missiles that arent even close to you
Trying really hard not to be condescending, but you really don’t need many flares to defeat a 9M. Especially not on a platform with such good agility.

Rafael F4.1 ~ F5 standard integrated this PGM
it should get the talios/damocles ng something but yeah otherwise for now not great with fix should be more ok.
