This isnt about needs but about preventing unnecessary backlash.
“maddog” is just launching a Fox 3 within visual/pitbull range. Meaning it’s already active the moment it is launched. MICA tends to be only good at this kind of launch with their horrible range ingame.
From what I’ve read, Rafale is worse in agility as apparently a buff went through for EFT after dev. Dunno tho
Not really. Maddog is just launching FOX3 in automatic acquiring mode, not necessarily in pitbull rage

It’s nowhere near DOA lol.
Supercruising + MICA + 70° HMD gimbal limit is a deadly combo. It’s a better plane than the Mirage 2000-5F in every way except that it’s carrying 2 less missiles. And the radar is better than the EFT as well, it scans much, much faster.
Is it meta ? Meh. If you consider the Meta to be slinging ARH at 10.000 meters, then as long as it’s not carrying Meteor it won’t be meta. Is it DOA ? Also no. It’s a short range menace with excellent avionics and flight model. It won’t be hard to get 6/6 MICA to hit at close range.

I hope not. Iy already has less missiles than the EF. I hope it’s not performance wise.
Also why did they buff the EF ? It was flying like a UFO in the dev server anyway
