I think the time will be too short to have a second server dev, usually the update comes out on the Friday before Christmas and there is about a week between the closing of the server dev and the release.

We will see but I am skeptical about a second dev server

Especially EFT, i spaded yesterday and its flying like a UFO, pulling 17G’s while having almost full fuel with 8 missiles is ridicilous.

Yes, the videos I’ve seen with EFT are hilarious, the plane does whatever it wants.

Nice! But one thing I really want and find important is having two different sounds to differentiate between an incoming radar-guided missile and an infrared-guided missile, since the Rafale carries a limited number of flares.

Working with Wareta on the IR channel of the OSF. It appears that the IR channel was removed because it just did not work properly. It was then added back with newer capabilities in the new OSF-IRST system with the F4.1 standard.

Do you know if the IRST will be removed or if it will be kept ?

I have no idea. Wareta has not yet sent it to devs, and then it will be up to them to decide. I’m not aware of what’s going on behind the scene.

I still find a few inconsistencies. Some mention that there was still an IR detector usable on the F3, I guess there might be an IR channel in the TV sensor. However that would surprise me since there appear to be only one sensor on the TV system, meaning it should only be a visible spectrum sensor

It’s impossible, each head has a separate sensor and processing unit. You can’t fit both in one (and it wouldn’t make sense to do so anyway)

Is there a bug report on the Giat 30 (gun) fire rate? It should be 2500rpm not what it is now.

It is 2500rpm now, and the shell’s stats are accurate as well

I heard that the M791 can be changed to 1500RPM, but is it only 2500RPM in the game? There’s no tracer in the ammo so it’s hard to use.

It’s pretty decent velocity, shouldn’t really need tracers to hit things. Worst case scenario, lock the thing with radar and shoot it that way.

I have find only one source, if you can find more we can make a suggestion

It is 1025 meters / second, so on-par with top tier guns.

I know it has the same bullet velocity as the BK-27, but it is very inconvenient to lose 60+ rounds of ammo with just a few clicks.

Plus you have the OSF that can lock without using a radar. Just press F until you lock the enemy and it’s good to aim

Do people just not bother to conserve ammunition? I was flying it on dev when the fire rate change went through, and if you’re not holding down the trigger and only firing once you’re lined up it’ll take at most 10 rounds to knock out the target.

Depending on the distance, I am not good enough to use a no tracer gun and kill the enemy with only 10 shots.
It is even more difficult when there are only 125 rounds of ammunition and the firing rate is 2500 RPM.
