That looks so neat
Anti Claustrophobic measure for pilot lol
M88 T-Rex, as called by Safran, the manufacturer, is said to produce 9 tons of thrust and is compatible with the F5 variant of the rafale. That’s a significant upgrade over the 7.6ish tons that the regular m88 has, all in the same volume

If our Rafale can perform like this with current engines imagine what can do with T-Rex.
Don’t forget rafale is currently overperforming by the widest margin we have seen in game.
Lmao you are still on that it’s actually crazy. It’s overperforming mostly in high Mach numbers that are rarely reached in usual games. Statshark shows huge disparities but those mostly happen outside of the structural limit of the plane as of now
The acceleration is what I’m more concerned by, imagine if it got the Rex engines in game, its acceleration would be faster than some missiles 😂
If you think it’s overperforming now, then wait until you see the new report that’s being cooked up.
Better hurry the new update is nearly out
I think it’s time for 15% increase in thrust
I really hope it’s about the missing thrust …
15% missing from the current M88?
First and foremost I would like Gaijin to either add RAM coating feature and lower Rafale’s RCS or remove the speed limit for RAM coating and let Rafale fly 1500+ kph IAS.
RCS isn’t that much modelled right ? So we could expect it to be more relevant for 4.5 gen aircraft eventually with what could be added from the leaks i would guess.
it is called thrust efficency loss
and every jet has that
Dutch/Belgian F-35 the final jet in the French tree…It’s grim isn’t it
UK is the same F-35B and done.
possibly the AMCA, but yea thats about it… or the aussie’s F-35

Rafale M Meteor missile training launch
What we can see here is that the MBDA Meteor motor burns for more than 15 seconds. (The length of the video is 15 seconds.)
Meteor has an air breathing engine it should burn longer than 15 seconds
