Yes, I ran into the same problem in simulation, and whether it’s against ARH or SARH, I feel like the MAW activates at the moment the missile is launched but cuts off very quickly and does not continue to release countermeasures.
Otherwise, still in the problems, several times my MICA simply refused to launch, I don’t know if it’s due to my joystick (I have no issue with the other missiles) or the game.
This is a video talking specifically about SIM which is niche. I agree Rafale is busted in SIM but this is not really the mode the devs are putting the effort about balance. In ARB the rafale is probably one of / the best jet but not by such a huge margin that it defines the meta.
As Mikey said, its busted in all modes, its just most busted in sim. As the CC mentionned, it was already busted in sim before Hornets Sting, to the point where it was generally considered that whoever had Rafales was going to win the match, and yet it was still buffed a ton during Hornets Sting while its competition was nerfed.
Ahh okay, I don’t think there’s a solution to fixing the “dominance” of the Rafale in air rb/sim besides adding more advanced counterparts even though the YouTuber is against it. And the youtuber’s suggestion of “tuning down” the Rafale won’t work as Gaijin simply withhold reports for balance, instead of actually balancing aircrafts. In fact, it is likely the Rafale will get more buffs next patch. I still maintain Rafale was added too soon and M2K still could have gotten more buffs.
There’s a report to somewhat reduce its G overload but that can be mitigated somewhat in air/ground RB with an instructor report if needed.
I don’t have sources to claim that the Rafale needs to be tuned down, so I won’t be here asking for that.
I was simply reporting the video that was flagged, even though I think the original post was flagged for the 2nd part of the message.
Starting by having it not overperform in the same area’s the EFT was overperforming would be nice. But yeah, I agree it shouldn’t have been added so early.
