pulling 20g with rafale what ? would that even change anything if that would be fixed to the average player ?
As someone that plays Air RB regularly, yeah this doesn’t happen for me. I think some people can even reach past 20G in the Rafale in some instances but that doesn’t occur in air rb really.
most of the time im hovering around 17gs which is still ridiculous and should be nerfed
Considering the rafale can easily go up to 10G (during displays), and is stated to have a structural limit of 11G, with the usual factor of 1.5 applied on all aircraft’s in that regard, the rafale should still pull about 16G before breaking it’s wings, which also happens to be the usual max G load I achieve in Air RB on my side. Definitely not hovering around 17G tho
i usually pull with keyboard which is insta max pull so i usually get 16-17gs
i just wonder why it’s -7.2 gs… shouldnt it be -3 x 1.5 which is like -4.5
Even in Simulator you could only archive this by using the trim exploit, same works with EFT, not sure whether they fixed it already or not.
All in all it really won’t make a difference.
Should snap at 18G and rarely survives going above about 13-14G.
What I’ve read indicates a 1.5x multiplier resulting in 16-17. Funnily enough, the same as Rafale. It can quite comfortably go above 13gs, I have not remotely experienced it snapping, even attempting to force it to. But, I also don’t want to have this argument because I know at least someone’s going to respond dishonestly, and my patience for that is thin today.
Okay so I tested the Rafale even though the change hasn’t gone live yet.
Datamine says that at Mach 0.6 at sea level and minimum fuel, the G-load will be reduced to 13.62G
Mach 0.6 at sea level translates to ~734 km/h
I flew in the same condition and the Rafale when pulled in air rb settings briefly touches 13G before rapidly coming down to ~9-11G
So this change might do nothing for air rb performance
We’ll have to see when the change goes live though
That Neg-G number might have to come down a bit. Negative 7+ G is hilariously high.
It should come down but it wouldn’t affect its performance in any mode. It’s a funny gimmick at this point.
Nerf makes it so structural limit goes from 14.62G to 13.62G at Mach 0.6, sea level, minimum fuel, but it can only already do 12G so the current performance wouldn’t hit the structural limit in air rb.
will it affect high speed performance ? (mach 1-1.5).
As you can see here, the higher the speed the higher the G limit apparently. +1G for every Mach 0.6, so at Mach 0.6 goes up to 14.62G, Mach 1.2 goes up to 15.62G and Mach 1.8 goes up to 16.62G.
i think in game u can currently pull upto 15-16Gs around mach 1.2 ? so it will be reduced to 14-15Gs now ?
I think this will make it so the Rafale might rip when losing alt quickly (such as when defending), was the case with the Eurofighter a lot before the instructor got tightened and now you just can’t rip yourself anymore unless you do some weird rudder yaw maneuver.
I tested it at 1.5 km alt and Mach 1.2, and it momentarily does 15G then goes down to 14G right away. Can’t do Mach 1.2 at sea level since it rips with overspeed there. I think we will have to see more tomorrow hopefully.
Btw, someone corrected me, the +1G starts at Mach 0.6 rather than Mach 1.2 like I thought.
