Super étendard is going to be able to carry 2 of those. At a lower BR, perhaps the AA are going to struggle more. But honestly, I’ll just be happy to have it because it’s cool. Sometimes you just don’t need to have the best at anytime.

I believe ships in game have a much higher success rate of shooting down missiles then they did it in real life. But even if that is fixed only having a single missile would probably still be quite limiting.

What is “The Intertial Unit”?
Based upon my experience in the Buc S2B at 10.3 in NE. Sea Eagles usually got through. (Sometimes the AI just seemed to down a can of redbull for that sortie and snipe them all down, and then just stop on the next sortie, and they all got through. It was kinda wierd tbh)
I didnt mess about much with the GR1 in the higher Bracket because I was busy, so I cant give much of an opinion on the higher bracket though.
The bigger issue I think you’ll find is the Exocets not doing enough damage to bring anything down. (and thus my aforementioned thing about AI repairs) Seagles were taking 2 usually to destroy a destroyer, and its got double the explosive mass of the exocet. I think AS-34s were also really struggling.

I think you can see it in game for some missile by the acronym “INS” for Inertial Navigation System

I’ve just never heard it called Intertial Unit before. But it makes sense now.

didn’t check DGA’s post, but i’m pretty sure they used “Centrale inertielle” which does not translate that well if the context is misunderstood by the translation program

Yep. To add on that, “Central” as a French word can mean lots of things in English. In “central inertielle” the closest English equivalent would be “unit”, but the “unit” you hear when you talk about a CPU for example, not the unit “number”.

LockMart is fumbling that really bad rn, if they’re saying Block 4 will be ready by 2030 then it’ll probably actually be ready 5 to 10 years later
I would not be surprised if we end up seeing them start the replacement program for F-35 before block 4 is 100% with minimal issues
