The shafrir 2 is also not very good, its basicaly a 9B that can pull a bit more , the shafrir 2 falls from the sky the moment the motor stops bruning and has an even worse flare resistance, 9.7 would be a fine br for it ngl
You’re not going to compare an AIM-9B with a Shafrir II, the Israeli missile is much better.

its better but not 10.0 better, i have used it many times, this plane would be fine at like 9.8 but thats not a thing
The Shafrir II is the equivalent of the AIM-9D and you have the Israeli Shahak with this last missile in BR 10.0, it cannot be below 10.0 because for example the French Milan fighter is BR 9.7 but has AIM-9B
no its not, the 9D has about twice the range than the shafrir 2, the shafrir 2 has about the same effective range of an r60 while pulling less, also the shanhank gets the 9D and 530E
you can use statshark to compare said missiles, you will realize how short range the shafrir 2 is
also you can find the shafrir 2 as low as 9.0 btw
The War Thunder Wiki itself mentions that it is the equivalent of the AIM-9D, it is also important to mention that the Shafrir II can keep the target locked which allows for much better angles of attack, whereas the AIM-9D must have the target in sight at all times which forces you to be right behind it at all times and keep it in the small sight otherwise you cannot launch the missile.

Regarding this, you cannot compare a platform like the Mirage 50 with the Sa’ar; the performance is incomparable. I could say the same thing but the other way around, that the Shafrir II has BR 11.7 aircraft like the Kfir C.2.

That BR is due to flight performance and Python 3.
I know, the point was to demonstrate that depending on the aircraft that uses a missile, the BR can be higher or lower, so the argument I was told before is not solid.

I’m not sure if this is something that fits super well here, but I ended up making a Kfir-inspired livery on something identical to the Mirage 50C

thats the old wiki, you know the unreliable one. if you want to compare missiles use statshark instead since that page takes the data of the missiles from the actual game files
It turned out very nice, I always wanted them to make a skin for the Israeli Kfirs with the colors of the Chilean Mirage 50 or the Pantera
