Enough with the copy paste. There are enough Shermans
nope, it would be 5.0 or even 5.3. The one already present is a 75mm sherman (at 3.7 i believe)
It may just be my style but sniping is incredible tedious. I cant bring myself to play the PT, PVKV, or the 74. The DT and T34 are the only vehicles id bother bringing since i need the mobility lest i get a 1000lb from any US plane. As for AA the ush is silly but too slow and bouncy to be used for AA and with no armor nor crew its pretty much just food for anyone with a machine gun of any caliber. Its just makes a frustrating lineup with 2 decent vehicles. Id kill for literally any other nations 5.x lineup since i need mobility to get from different points. Its honestly surprising that the DT isnt 5.7 and the 74 5.0 given how meh the squished tank is.
But that is the role some of these vehicles are good at. The M4A3E4 is not going to be better than any of the vehicles in the Swedish TT at anything. The T-34 has a similar gun and better armor; the Comet has a better gun and worse armor; the DT has a better reload, but similar pen with light armor; etc. etc. Their is no reason to add the Sherman. It adds nothing.
I’m sorry you don’t like the style, but that doesn’t mean that the vehicles are bad or that the Sherman is necessary. If you want the Sherman, and the Sherman playstyle, the solution is simple; play the US. Do not ask for it in another TT when it is wholly not necessary
You kinda ignored the most basic buff this thing has over something like the 74, mobility and armor dont get me wrong the M4’s dont have the best mobility but its definitely better than the 74 and they dont have to worry about 50 call nuking their crew on one strafe. Essentially this would be a better strv 74 and more than likely at 5 0 whoch means its on a better lineup. Thats a fairly big difference given playing 5.7 Essentially forces you to play planes that are 2 BR’s worse than what they fight on average as 5.7 plays 6.7 a lot.
To me is very much seems you just haven’t played the vehicles i apologize if you have but given you continue to ignore the performance of some of them u dont feel you have a good enough opinion to rate them considering you seem to just be judging of stat card rather than from your own experience.
It’s a sniper. Play it like a Sniper. You don’t like having to Snipe? Play the US for the playstyle you want. Simple As. Again; no need for it in the TT.
not necessary? maybe.
Adding a Sherman to another TT? My good sir, there is already a Sherman in literally every TT, be it premium or TT. instead it’s one more Sherman that may actually bring something useful to a TT.
I have up to 8.7 Sweden, I barely bothered to touch 5.0/5.7 Sweden. the best tank at 5.0/5.7 for me was the 5.0 TD, and I barely even played that.
I have most of the US, when i play 5.7 i have the linup i want. This is more so about every nation having a competitive lineup. The Strv 74 is not a 5.7 comparable vehicle as most 5.3’s do its job better in every regard. Your entire argument is reading reading stats and saying what you think about a vehicle it seems you haven’t played. This conversation isnt really going anywhere so we should agree to disagree.
Fine, but regardless. No Swedish Sherman. It is wholly unnecessary.
Thats is left entirely up to the snail we as players have no say, we could both agree its a good addition or a bad one and its the snails final say.
Taiwan M1A1T is something that will be interesting to see given its the only nation with a confirmed subtree.
I am against it in favor of domestic Chinese vehicles but snail has final say for these decisions.
Yea. USSR has a premium M4A2, while Japan has a premium M4A3 (76) W. Germany has a captured sherman, the M4 748 (a). Israel has the M-51 and the M-51 (W), and China has the normal M4A4 and the M4A4 (1st PTG) and a M4A1 75 (W). Italy has a M4 hybrid, M4A4, M4 Tipo 1C, and the Sherman Vc. UK has the Sherman II, Sherman firefly, Skink, and Poland (in the UK TT) has the Sherman IC “Trzyniec”. France has the M4A1, M4A3 (105), M4A4, M4A1 (FL10), M4A4 (SA50) and the M4A3E2. And the US has the M4, M4A1, M4A2, M4A3 (105), M4A1 (76) W, M4A2 (76) W, the Calliope, Cobra King, M4A3 (76) W, M4A3E2 (76) W, and the M4A3E2. That is a total of 31 Shermans in the entire TT, and almost all of the major TT’s have this tank, and so the Sherman is the most numerous tank in the whole game. And do we need to make it 32 now?
It’d be more accurate to call it mismodeled, if we’re to be fair. The vehicle it’s meant to represent did exist but the modeler or whoever gave direction to the modeler got confused, which resulted in the M4A3 hull.
This is likely because the original hull had a big fat “IV” plastered on it, which just so happens to be what the British called the M4A3 (Sherman IV). I’m certain that this is a genuine mistake because Gaijin literally added a large-hatch VVSS M4 hulled vehicle in the same update. It’s a relatively simple fix but we all know how Gaijin is with those.
This would be an interesting variant of a Sherman. Just one question: is the M1A1C cannon the upgraded variant of the 76mm M1 gun found on other US tanks? Or a Danish (or other origin) produced gun with differrent performance and ballistics?
It’s a Danish bread launcher!
A +1 from me! It would be pretty neat to see in the TT, given that we currently have no actual tech tree vehicles from Denmark for whatever reason.
+1 for this Frankenstein wagon, while it’s “only” a Sherman the fact that it’s the first Danish tank is more significant, and would continue the Scandinavian expansion of the Swedish TT.
CV9035DK or technically the Lynx: am i a joke to you?
Rather than pedantically define the CV90 as a non-tank, I will instead point to the fact that the Suggestion is taglined as “Denmark’s first official tank”!
Eh, id still say it would be the Lynx but it is a car, so you win on this lol
