Czech Gripen to USSR

I’ll go look for them in a little bit, I’m not home at the moment.

EDIT: Just type “list of” and “wish lists” in the forum search bar. Now I’m going to iterate now that I’m not calling anyone out, I’m just backing up my point.

I’m completely in favor of Czech Gripen for the Swedish a/f.

Too bad the Czechs already go to the USSR.

Czech Gripen? Nah

Since when? Smin hasn’t said anything about that, nor have the devs or any other high ranking moderators.

If a singular vehicle being added to a TT is enough, Germany would be home for at least 3 nations by now (Czechoslovakia, Switzerland & Canada - discounting the most obvious being Argentina), same way US would be the home TT for Canada (M4A5), etc. None of those (bar Argentina) are true however.

Well Russian main wet dream want to get something they can’t easily beat with six ER slinger
Also they seem to forget that Czech is NATO member

I wouldn’t count the Pz.38’s if that’s what you’re talking about, Germany took over their factories during the war also there is more than one vehicle in the USSR if you include premiums, that actually include the Czechoslovakian flag.

It’s quite obvious what’s going to happen with Czechoslovakia, it’s going to be used as a filler, which by the way I disagree with, it’s just facts, maybe until if Gaijin decides they need their own tech tree, there are numerous options Gaijin could’ve picked from.

I didn’t know being part of NATO was a limitation for War Thunder, can you point to me where this is stated?

by their logic soviet/russian based vechicles shouldnt be in nato countries as they are outside of nato

I find it funny that Russian need Gripen when they running around with mig-29 and su-27?
but wait if you ask me why German can have mig-29? it because they use them and put in Luftwaffe service even after reunification, so they actually use them.
and if you ask what about T-80U and MI-28A for Sweden and T-90 for Britain? well i can still say those are ridiculous decision made by Gaijin and I don’t like it too

I never asked why Germany had a MiG-29, must’ve been another individual, Germany used those. And yes there are ridiculous additions all around, what can we do about it.

That is irrelevant. Pz.35 & 38s were both Czechoslovakian designs. Russia will never have a sub-tree officially or in-officially, there no nation that “belongs” to them simply because they’ve got enough homemade designs for the most part. Discounting the Su-25, there’s only a single ‘indi’ CSR vehicle in the Russian TT, and just like the Hunter F.58, it was added to plug a “gap” at lower tiers. The gap is now gone, so tell me what else is there to this?

Aside from that, I do love how you just ignored other examples which include Canada & Switzerland, lol.

I’ll bite and ask which ones you’re talking about @Mongaroth33

Jestli skončí jako sub-tree ruska, budu se inspirovat Tedem Kacynzskym.

Except it not irrelevant, it’s a Czech design used by Germany, that’s totally different from the Czechs themselves using it, the vehicles themselves even have the the German flag on them in the statcard.

I don’t know, I asked if we’d see more Czech vehicles on the Praga dev blog and the response was maybe, so it’s still a possibility, maybe not as a sub tree but it’s definitely possible we’ll see more Czechoslovakian vehicles in the USSR research tree.

At this point I do have to ask, “Czech vehicles” as in the post-CW nation, or Czechoslovakia post-1945. The former is very much a no-go (especially once we include Western designs), the latter is doable due to majority of armoured & air vehicles used were of Soviet designs (just like the Su-25K and the “flag”, which is in this context irrelevant). Because you seem to be using “Czech” and “Czechoslovakian” like they’re one and the same.

You’re right, the vehicles which are being added are under the Operator country of “Czech Republic”. However we do have a single vehicle under Slovakia, that’s the T-72M2 Moderna, but that’s a event vehicle, so that doesn’t say much.

Technically…

In case of the Su-25K that can make sense, as they inherited those aircraft from Czechoslovakia, alas it would make more sense to put them under “Czechoslovakia” instead. However if Prada has a flag of the Czech Republic then it’s a Gaijin-made error.

On the other hand, I think Gaijin’s just lazy.

It’s possible.

Prada has czechoslovak flag

Its the same as flag of czech republic.

Only after split slovakia got its own flag.

it better that make eastern European TT at whole there a lot of stuff for them put in even Leopard2
