Czech Gripen to USSR

You’re right, the vehicles which are being added are under the Operator country of “Czech Republic”. However we do have a single vehicle under Slovakia, that’s the T-72M2 Moderna, but that’s a event vehicle, so that doesn’t say much.

Technically…

In case of the Su-25K that can make sense, as they inherited those aircraft from Czechoslovakia, alas it would make more sense to put them under “Czechoslovakia” instead. However if Prada has a flag of the Czech Republic then it’s a Gaijin-made error.

On the other hand, I think Gaijin’s just lazy.

It’s possible.

Prada has czechoslovak flag

Its the same as flag of czech republic.

Only after split slovakia got its own flag.

it better that make eastern European TT at whole there a lot of stuff for them put in even Leopard2

How about:

No clue why a Czech Gripen would go to Russia.

I’m guessing this post is because of the Czech Su-25k being in the Russian tree, but it’s in the Russian tree because the Su-25k is a Russian airframe, not because the Czech Republic has any meaningful ties to Russia.

Well, Mi-28A isn’t Swedish heliframe, T80U isn’t Swedish tankframe, T90S isn’t GB tankframe. For Gaijin it doesn’t matter, especially for Dmitriy

Some “sub-nations” have been moved from one tree to another, or even have equipment in more than 1 tree - so that’s not an actual obstacle…

India has clear ties to Britain, even if adding modern Indian vehicles is a bit of a stretch.

Sweden tested that T-80U.

A Czech Gripen has no national ties to Russia, nor does it have any relation to Russian equipment.

If those were trialed for potential military adoption then sure, but my guess is that you misunderstood what I said.

On what grounds? Did Russia trial these things? If so that is an interesting proposal, though I imagine all 3 Italy mains wouldn’t be especially pleased.

They were trialed in Moscow some time ago, though their inclusion into the game has already as you can expect negative, but I don’t think any of that matters, I expect to see them included at some point. 105, 120mm variants for the Centarou and both 25/30mm variants were trialed for the Freccia.

Stuff like this for the USSR usually causes neural activation and people to frantically downvote it lol.

Well, if on some off chance Gaijin ever runs out of indigenous Russian vehicles to add that fill the same roll, they would fit the bill then.
