What makes the pantsir the top dawg isn’t only the ability to kill planes well, but its ability to also shoot down every single atgm that comes its way. Gl hitting any hammers or mavericks at distance with that thing up.
Although this thing might surpass it in killing planes, the pantsir will still be on top of protecting its team
The type 625e csn literaly do that even better with ahead lol
And german slm shoots stuff down before they can shoot a2g stuff

Oh, i have no idea how the in-game vehicle and missiles will work, i was talking about IRL designations.
It will depends, Pantsir-S1 clearly will have faster response time but being a SACLos missile (in-game) would be technically inferior to the others if the new missile systems came with IR + ARH.
Hopefully Gaijin adds the capability of engaging multiple targets at the same time for top tier SACLos anti-air vehicles if they’re capable to, to be in pair with future ARH anti-air systems.
The pantsir, tor, and hq17 can all already engage multiple targets, though it’s not super practical.
While cool, given how useless the Type 81c is its hard to get excited about more IR SPAAs as they lack the range to be effective against CAS and this thing will most likely be ignoring them anyway because most players will be using it to shred MBTs.
Will this thing at least have terminal IR to actually get the full range from its missiles? or will it have that system removed like the type 81c?
The radar alone makes it more than “a little better” but that is far from being useful, that thing is complete garbage and the fact it was up tiered just shows how bad the average CAS player is.
