it is a subtree, a subtree is not required to have a whole line in the tech tree
germany was originaly supposed to receive the austrian one, but the french cried so much germany instead recieved the argentinian one, its a random addition which we werent entitled to.
Austria was considered because germany is likely supposed to be DACH since switzerland will come as a subtree to germany

Thanks for linking my suggestion, but I think DPRK vehicles should only be added to China if a standalone United Korean tree is off the table. Otherwise there are domestic Chinese options.

I didn’t predict it down the exact update no, but the F-117 was the obvious place to start with stealth aircraft since it only carries two laser guided bombs and no offensive armaments or countermessures whatsoever, so it wasn’t completely out of this world to expect it coming soon-ish.
