the SMT/MF dont get the r13m1, so my simple idea was to give them the regular r-13M instead of the M1 just to add the missile back into some planes
and so we can finally pushed them up in BR again? genius

R-13M on a J-35XS? do you have any proof of that?
could have been simply a musuem montage, replacing the AIM-9J,…
this is more accurate as there is written documents mentionning the R-13M for “J-35S” (and not “XS” maybe a typo)

but replacing AIM-9J for a R-13M is actually bad (it’s goes further away, but are less capable to follow a turn)
i don’t think K-13s and AIM-9s share the same rail.

R13M1 is a AIM–9J very good missile very high flare resistance for what they are should be added in place of R60s
In would love to have the 13M back in the game, its sort of between a 9E and D I think, would be nice for balance and fun.

Tbh the R-13M is an AIM-9D, and the R-13M1 is an AIM-9J, outside of the fact that is caged, the AIM-9D outclasses the AIM-9J in pretty much anything.
