Composite protection for the Ariete's hull on the Dev?

Don’t know if they just broke the Ariete’s model beyond salvation but there’s an interesting difference on the Dev server if you look at the standard Ariete and its other variants.

Standard Ariete:

Are they finally updating something after all these years or its just a pipe dream and this is simply a visual bug?
Let’s belive something is changing.

EDIT:
I know that the turret is also completely messed up, that’s why I’m a bit skeptical about this change, but I still want to belive they’re finally implementing something passed years ago.

Yes, for now it’s really not finished with different plates phasing through each other and random armor values.

They’ll probably finish the first change on the standard C1 and then copy-paste the new model on the other variants.
