Community Update No.8: Responses and What’s Coming!

I believe anything in DM’s is between you and the user so that’s down to both parties, of course if something is seriously wrong we can get involved !

How many people can I bring in?

Like at what level will you pop out?

There is an add button for DM’s I don’t know the limit though!
We only get involved if someone flags/ invites us in to deal with a issues etc

Ok, so let’s say I and a bunch of people are discussing the bad things about the moderation team or Gaijin or anything, and since nobody flags it, then we are 100% safe?

Then how are you suppose to grind the german tech tree?

How can a comment related to what’s coming be off topic? I just let you notice that some stuffs planned by devs could be considered offensive by people from such country. I was just trying to help, I didn’t offend anyone nor I talked about politics. But fine, it won’t happen again. Cheers

We can have a chat in DM’s if you like? but yet again your comment wasn’t removed for Politics as I have stated more than once now!

Yeah, its fate will likely be just like Israel’s, at least I found some candidates for its earlier tech tree:

South Korean M8 Greyhound

North Korean SU-76M

North Korean BTR-40 (Not SPAAG Variant)

Maybe Gaijin will add a few vehicles from the Chinese volunteer army, the UN forces, some milk trucks, or Japanese tanks to fill that gap.

So far so good; it looks like most people would want the Abrams as well as the VT4 in the Japanese tree. However, may I ask for those who voted “No” why?

But it’s not given to the PRC, it just happens to be in the same techtree. It’s still an ROC tank.

Doesn’t matter. 1940s RoC is different from 2000s RoC. The Abrams is a defensive vehicle for a nation threating to invade them.

If Cyprus is beeing added than I think the equipments of the northern Part (Turkish Cypriots) will be added too

And why is Nobody speaking about Türkiye. The Community is waiting years for a Standalone Tree and they have a big Community too. Like if Korea is beeing implented then Türkiye should be too.

China already has a Taiwanese Mirage 2000-5 and F-16, an Abrams would just be a drop in the ocean

I agree the Thai VT-4 was handled wrong, a Thai tank should go to Thailand. But it doesn’t change anything if we just copy the same wrong behavior and protest the ROC M1A2T.

We have GDR and FRG in one tree just called “Germany”, because both shared a German identity. They weren’t the same nation and on opposing sides, but both German.

Similarly the Korean tree is planned to have DPRK and ROK, two nations on opposing sides, but both Korean.

I’d say this is just about the same here

I dont understand the United Korea tree at all. Nothing they have is overly unique that either nation cant be a sub tree. Noth Korea should go to the Soviet/Russian Tree and South Korea to the US. At least according to Wiki, North Korea has nothing but T-34s, T-54s, some T-62s reskinned, and maybe a T-72. South Korea was M24s, M4s, M26s, M48s, and an Abrams. The K1A1s and K1A2s, not to mention the K2 would be a change of gameplay for US. Gaijin are repackaging stuff already in game under a new (to the game) flag. Its a new way to sell premiums, but its nothing but a new grind for players.

And I like for them to not have it. So would lots of other people. I cant speak on French vehicles but its a big no to modern US vehicles. If the French player base is cool with them having their tech, cool. But people can and should push back on that. Theres just no reason to give China the Abrams. China threw a fit over the VT4 as well so they shouldnt get a tank from a nation they’re threating to invade.

can we just replace them by pakistan planes

I also like how they didn’t exclude China from the annoucement that the Singaporean vehicle roaster were going to be butchtered and given out to various nations. A sort of “trust us bro, we will give them to nations we think they fit which may or may not just be China”. Surprised almost no one else has mentioned that.

They only seem to have addressed the Asian countries for now
